Yeah most of the Direct from Nintendo (1st and 2nd party games) looks awesome. Especially the top Metroid pic, hopefully Nintendo release bigger shots officially soon.
Even Mario party looks nice!

Are you trying to say that in the trailer, they used both nunchuk and Wiimote? Maybe there's different control modes, one of them being Wiimote only... I'd be fine with either mode.

I'm almost looking forward to shovelware fishing games now. They have so much more potential than ever before. If they can nail down the Zelda fishing experience, but expand it to be more fully featured (a real game instead of a minigame), then I'll probably buy it.

I think one thing the Wiimote does is it may give less talented developers a better shot at making fun games. For what it's worth.

rapala games have sucked though... although I must say this one looks better than the last version I tried which was on the xbox. But the biggest problem with that was that it had a horrible framerate. Which was certainly wierd.

Honestly PantherLotus those TV pics, do more justice to Wii than any official Screenshot released so far to date by any company.

I tend to agree with this statement. Those pics on the official Nintendo HDTVS (huh?!) look freaking sweet. They all look bright, crisp, and amazingly colorful. When a game like that Samurai-slasher-thing game that looked so horrible in captures and what not and we can see it like that...Nintendo certainly has their hands full but they would not be idiots if they put out as many of those official Nintendo tv kiosk things as possible.

According to IGN's latest impressions of Fire Emblem, it uses the classic controller, not the wiimote.

Geez that's idiotic. Just using the remote alone would be ideal for a turn based game like that where you can sit back in your couch and use one hand.
