I added the new games to my post above.

Would it make sense to add a category for games that are currently looking for funding or would it be better to make a new thread for those?

Anyway here are the ones I'm aware of:

Would anyone care to create a Wii U crowdfunding thread? I would do it if I could^^. I'll contribute to it just like I do in this thread.

Thanks for the info on all these kickstarter games btw.

Damn that Bit: Evolution one didn't go anywhere. Still 6 days left, but it doesn't look good.

New Kickstarter with a Wii U stretch goal: Drop.

Scanning the OP, how many of these games are confirmed for WiiU? Guns of Icarus Online was rumored at one point in time, but I only see it confirmed for PS4.

That's not hitting the stretch goal. Really like the art style, but those animations are rough.

From the FAQ
What is with the animation of Tay being so choppy? - do the visuals shown now represent the final product?
No, the visuals shown in the current trailer does not represent the final product. Currently, the animations are all at 10FPS; if the game gets funded, I will be repainting and animating all animations at 60FPS in Spine.

So have been addressed.

I bought W101 as well as Pikmin and a myriad other eshop games and the fridge of my Wii U is pretty packed.. does anyone know a good ~1TB harddrive which can be powered by an y-cable alone? I really don´t need anymore power cords in my living room. Thanks.

hm fair point.

though, so far, I don't think they have specified that either way except for Revelations HD.

Nope, even the other WWI Ubi Art game (Valiant something?) was specified to be DD only - 2014 - ) while the other games were mobile/browser games - so DD only of course)

Ubi just confirmed that Child of Light is an eshop games, more than 10 hours long (don't know the price yet, probably around 19.99)

If you haven't yet, everyone should pick up Toki Tori 2, it comes with Toki Tori 2+ update for free.

For a limited time, all of that for only $8.99 in the eshop.

Indie Impressions - Toki Tori 2+

One of the best games of the year got even better. Anyone who has a Wii U, is complaining about nothing to play, likes games that don't hold your hands are expertly designed needs to by Toki Tori 2+ ...seriously.

If you already have the game the update is free, right?

It seems so, the icon in the Wii Menu now has a 2+ in it.

I'm about to fire it up and start again from scratch. I put it down for too long a while back and couldn't remember where the hell I was.

I was playing last night but on the gamepad cause my wife was watching tv(Gamepad is a godsend for anyone with a family) and it looks gorgeous on there. The game is pretty great, I was zipping through levels enjoying myself. Made me feels all happy inside.

Everyone should get this game, especially at that price. No brainer.

Thanks everyone for realizing this gem of a game.

Whoever didn't buy it yet, buy it now. Really worth it.

It's slmost as if sales entice people or something...Lord knows I bought my copy this morning :D

I'm really thinking of buying Toki Tori 2+ since it's on sale. But I'm still not 100% sure about it. I don't mind the cute looks and stuff at all, what I care is if it's challenging (not in a cheap way) and if there's plenty of stuff to do (game length, secrets and stuff). At that price, it's very tempting, so try to convince me to buy it :)

Don't let the cute aesthetics fool you, the game has some really complicated puzzles.

Zero hand holding as well. Everything is taught organically, by watching enemies and learning how you actions affect them.

Edit: Toki Tori 2 is easily one of the top 5 games on the WiiU, downloadable or not.

Look, this game was an absolute masterpiece even before the + version was released. I don't know which changes to the original version have been made, I suppose they guide you a bit more now and some areas now seem somehow changed (I haven't had enough time to try it, but I beg them to NOT simplify it in any way).

If you don't mind its aspect, then don't worry. It's "2 vanilla" version was challenging because of HOW GOOD it was designed, but once you figured how to beat a puzzle, then it could be done perfectly fine.

I will try the 2+ version to see if the game has been "simplified" or if it's only new puzzles added to the classic version of the game, but as I said, it was a masterpiece and I doubt it's worse now.

I would add that it's the TOP ONE of its kind, and if we judge games by pure gameplay mechanics and level design, one of the best ever made. Absolutely incredible.
Regards!

Well you have until Sep 19th to buy it. It is challenging for sure.

Thanks guys. I've basically run out of games to play right now (just beat the story mode in Batman; Archam City 100%), so this game sounds tempting. And at that price I guess I can't go wrong even if the game wouldn't be quite what I expected. On the other hand, so many people have praised it, so it could really surprise me positively. I do like puzzle/adventure and/or platforming games afterall.

I just hope my Wii U cooperates with my external hard drive. I'll buy it anyway while it's on sale, but I may need to make room in the fridge before I can play it.
