Wii U Games 2013

I think Rockstar likes Nintendo enough to give them a chance with GTAV Wii U, they gave the Wii Bully, Manhunt 2, and Table Tennis and they are all pretty big games.

i'd like to think so but i doubt it (unless nintendo get the chequebook out)

If Nintendo is smart enough than they'll have to give them a cheque.

You guys have a month to stop this madness lol

seriously GTAV would be good for the Wii U right now too good in fact so if it makes too much sense it will not happen

gta4 25 million units

bully (late port of a game that originally sold) 2 million units
manhunt 2 rockstar never released a single sales number, but the three console versions combined did a whopping 300k in the us last numbers i had
table tennis i don't recall any public sales numbers but it's at around 500k in the US and around 200k in the UK

yep.

If there is to be a Wii U version, I wouldn't be surprised to see it release alongside the PC version. That is, if there is to be a PC version of course.

Just an observation that doesn't really belong elsewhere- assuming Nintendo is actually telling the truth and they have significant first party output to follow Pikmin 3 in August, the August through the end of the year lineup could look pretty decent, especially given that Ubisoft has games lined up from August to November (Splinter Cell, Rayman, AC4, Watch Dogs), plus Batman.

Yep, I remember someone listed all the potential releases and it really does look pretty good.

If I were Nintendo, I would purposely start bidding wars, hoping to lose as many negociations as possible. Looking to spend little money but making competitors pay more. Microsoft is going to have those games anyway, you might as well force them to lose money, a lot of money.

Eventually you'll have a situation where everything is unsustainable, then we can have a real gaming industry, not set on tehcnology but entertainment.

So the new releases for this month are RE and Deux? (Both I haven´t played yet)
We all know console releases are slow, maybe in E3 we will get some new info?
First I gotta finish all those games that I kept "saving" haha.

mostly I have plenty I did not buy like JUST DANCE 4 and others but yeah most of everything else is downloaded day 1

running out of menu spots
Dang, maybe Nintendo will need to make folders. I wonder if you fill up the spots will the Wii U say you cant download anymore due to no empty spots.

And actually I take that back. I suspect W101 drop in July US

52 out of 90 spots If I start to download VC I wonder make the end of the year so yeah we need folders ASAP

I will buy the Wii U version of Deus Ex when it's 20 bucks :Y

I was going to get it on PS3 eventually, but now I'll just wait for Wii U. Seems like the definitively best console version anyway (unless it runs badly or something).

Fans have started a Facebook campaign to get NiNoKuni on 3DS and Wii U, I don't know what they actually want (certain number of likes?), but hey if it even has a chance of working, why not? I Liked it. We heard BN saying they'd like to see it on 3DS, but I know Level-5 owns it, maybe BN would approach them to do it and offer the funding for them.

Do Facebook campaigns even work?

No

As much as I would like GTA V to release on the Wii U, I don't see it happening. I mean, they would have announced it by now. Then again, they haven't announced the PC version yet.

Doubt it will work but I'd love Ni no Kuni for Wii U, or at least the sequel.

I thought about that too, but than I remember Activision announcing Black Ops 2 for Wii U two months before release, Ubisoft waiting till February of 2013 (almost a year after E3 2012) to announce Watch Dogs for Wii U, and April to announce Blacklist for Wii U.

Could happen if Nintendo moneyhats it. Stays the question why they wouldn´t announce it as early as possible then.

Yeah, but unlike Rockstar, they've had success on previous Nintendo consoles with their games. Ubisoft and Nintendo are pretty close too. I think Stump pointed out that Rockstar's Wii support was sort of abysmal in both sales and amount of releases.

I don't think Nintendo would spend money on a game that won't be an exclusive for their system. There's no point in them moneyhatting something MS and Sony didn't moneyhat, especially if they don't know how well it will perform on their console.

Its so unlikely to happen that a proper account systen announced at E3 has a higher chance of happening ;)

I could see a GTA V port as a signal to other developers. A clear sogn of "We want your games!" from Nintendo.

But it wont happen. Not because Nintendo wouldn't want the game. I just don't think they would Moneyhat a multiplat that will also be available elsewhere.

Last week there was an article circulating around that stated May 16th is the date that Rockstar is expected to make announcements regarding additional platforms (potentially Wii U, PS4, Xbox 3 and/or PC) that GTA V will be available on.

Me neither, i don´t even think it would matter anyway. The GTA audience is already on 360/PS3 and that´s where they are going to buy the game.
But if Nintendo had actually moneyhatted GTA V we would probably know it already, makes absolutely zero sense to hold that back.

I think this was just people playing telephone. If you go back to the original source for the reports, there's no mention of the Wii U. It's just fan speculation. I think it was pointed out in the thread created based off this "rumor"

F1 Race Stars Powered Up Edition rated for Wii U in NA by ESRB.

Nice that it's coming, but honestly it looks unappealing, would've rather had Dirt 3 or F1 2012 or whatever the last one was.

Probably not, but I've liked the page anyway.

Waiting until the Fire Emblem and Zelda games to hit before I plunk down for the Wii U. Wonderful 101, Monolith X (although I didn't like Xenoblade), Wind Waker HD (depending if they make the sailing bits actually tolerable), Bayo 2, and Yoshi will make for icing on the cake.

I've got it on PS3, and honestly, it's not really good. The cartoonish driver models are the best thing about the game.

It might not release at all the way that article goes

I don't think so. Square said "in 2013" and the port seems to be done so there's no reason to not release it at one point in the future. I think it has been pulled back in the waiting for a bigger userbase. I hope so as I was planning to buy it.

Sucks about Deus Ex.. was planning to get it.

Now that I think about it... it's fucking unbelievable that only Injustice: GAU was the only game released in April.
