Every XBL game will have a demo. I've seen a few generic apps without.
 
well I complained about not recieving my phone yet and they basically told me to wait, just now I got an email telling me they still don't have any stock... :'(

from buymobilephones.net? Same issue, kept getting emails saying they don't have stock of the Omnia 7 yet and they expect them soon. So I asked them on twitter and they said they expect them this week for orange and next week for t-mobile.

I assumed it was a class 2 because the HTC HD7 breakdown showed it was using a class 2. I guess that isnt any real confirmation, but I'd be surprised if they didn't use the same cards for everything.

I'm sure this is the reasoning why MS doesn't want you replacing the card, since within each class, performance varies a lot.

I'm sure XDA Developers or other WP7 sites will get a list of cards which are likely to work best with the phones.

This is what I'm hoping for.

But I'm still a little in-the-dark about the switching of the cards. So you have to do a factory reset of the phone? This would wipe out EVERYTHING on the phone? Can you just restore a backup (from Zune?) afterward?
 
Has there been any info on how much the Samsung Focus will cost "without" contract? I just purchased the iPhone so I know they're not gonna let me "upgrade" .

Netflix for WM7 is here!
As Windows Phone 7 nears its North American launch date, big name apps continue to appear in the Zune Marketplace. Today, Netflix announced that its WP7 app is now live and ready to download. As with the Netflix apps for other platforms, the WP7 version is totally free and will allow you to watch streaming content on your device.

ugh next week for me then. By then I'm guessing the venue pro will be out then. Wonder if I can change if I wanted.
 
I've been having a great experience with the Tesco Real food app - for non English here, Tesco is our largest supermarket chain. The imagery is gorgeous; tomorrow I'm making Banana Muffins thanks to that baby.

An iPhone owning friend says he can't find that app, so it might actually be exclusive.
 
i really can't take much more of this wait. i'm still on contract and vowed to never go contract again so i'm this close to pulling the trigger and pre-ordering the hd7 from wirefly. the only thing stopping me is that i'm still waiting to hear details about the venue pro.

It's not coming right at launch but later this year (I think still this month though).

Also, a bit of non-news, but still cool none the less. Bill Gates uses a Samsung Focus as his personal WP7 device!

people over at xda are saying t-mobile have got their stock in of the Omnia 7, people getting their upgrades should get theirs tomorrow.

I hope buymobilephones send mine out this week...

Pretty sure you can sync exchange, gmail, etc., but it only has support for primary calendars. So you can only use one google calendar (so far), for instance.

Blah, par for the course with Rogers. They didn't even release iPhone 4 pricing information until the day before the launch.
 
I wonder who's to blame for fucking up the launch so badly (or at least, as it stands now it seems like it will be a clusterfuck). MS? The carriers? Manufacturers? All of them in some way?

Hopefully in the next few days AT&T gets all of it figured out so they can be ready for launch day at least.
