I would say this is more of a price correction when you look at GBP to USD.
Yeah, same date Inet has, and same prices as well. And the only carrier with a pre-order up, Tele2 says delivery in 6-7 weeks.

geez, just realized the release is only about 3 weeks away
Anyone else having issues with using the Mobile Edge browser on GAF? I tap on one thread but another loads. I move the cursor in one location but it shoots to the end of my most. It makes me not want to check out the site on this browser how consistent the issues are.
Are you using Windows 10? I get consistent chimes for text, it's email that doesn't give me any notification on my Icon.

Well I took the plunge to w10m on daily driver 640... went really well. A few hiccups in operation but happy so far...
But.... LTTP.... tile notifications... WTF is with the little black circle iPhone style numbers on tiles? Where is my elegant large white numeral? fecking gutted here.
Do not know how I didn't notice this on my backup I was running. Horrible

I did that, it was quite hard to make the computer find the phone because it was connecting for just a few seconds before going to the gears, but in the end it was fine.
I had to reboot twice. Once for it to see my 1520 and begin the download and another after the download was complete because the phone had already went to the gears.
Mine are just white numbers, not seeing the black circles.

However, its also the end of both of my contracts...
Im tempted to just drop them and try out Cricket for a few months
I just dont feel like having a phone should be costing us this much, maybe Im naive, idk.

WTF. I think paying $50/month per line is too much, and you pay that?
That total doesn't even include taxes + fees.
Go prepaid.

They were just following the Google narrative. Google thought they were bad for lollipop so the fanboys followed suit. Now that Google thinks sd cards are ok again, expect the fanboys to embrace them also.

I will once the price are sensible. Talking sub £250.
Ebuyer had them at £250 last month.
Keeping their price well I wouldn't put as a good thing. I don't think I've seen more than 2-3 930s in the wild.

You should be going on AT&T NEXT upgrades instead of the traditional two-year contract with your plan. On an AT&T NEXT plan they'll offer a discount on your lines that drops the monthly cost to $25 per line for a data package below 10GB or $15 per line on a package at or above 10GB. With that in mind if you do change to AT&T NEXT upgrades you should also change your data package to the 15GB for $100 plan. That'll cost you $25 more however with the discount in mind you'll be paying $15 per line instead of $25 so in reality it only costs you $5 more. Additionally if you're a student you can get a larger discount on the cost of the data package or several workplaces offer discounts.
(Edit) Actually I just realized that if you factor in a cost of $25 per month which each AT&T NEXT phone you'll actually end up paying $5 more per month overall.
He's using two-year contracts on a Mobile-Share plan which is greatly increasing the cost.

The thing is, my GF uses less than 1 GB of data a month pretty much because she works in an office setting so shes on wifi all the time. Im in the field 24/7 so Im always on data, I can use as much as I give myself.
So with these 950's coming out, I guess I have quite a few decisions to make (Unlocked, AT&T Next, Cricket). Admittedly I dont know the best course of action.

You have a plan that allows you to upgrade with subsidies. Thing is, usually the subsidies are $400 off the normal retail price, but that runs 24 months and you're paying $25 more per month just that.
If you need to stay on AT&T, do not change the plan. Check that the fees should drop to $15 per line from $40 once the contract is over. That should cut $50 from your plan. Upgrade phones using AT&T Next because you are on the promo plan that was available for a short while and allowed $15 per smartphone. Or buy unlocked.
If you really need more data, I suggest you change to T-Mobile with unlimited for you and something lower for your gf. AT&T can't match it. Or check the 4 lines with 10GB each for $120/mo. You can even get 20GB for a line with $10 more for that line.

Oh yeah, all the tiles get different styles now, isn't it cool? haha
I guess default styling for apps is the little circle though.
Fitbit uses a big pink circle for example. Outlook uses small black circle, and so other apps, and phone uses... just a big white number.

Was originally going to get a 950 but figured I'd jump in to my first Windows Phone with a cheaper one to give it a shot. I ended up getting a good deal on the Lumia Icon for $100 unlocked. Amazing camera and the interface is really nice so far. Some of the missing apps coming from Android does make it slightly inconvenient but nothing that can't be dealt with.
Is there a new W10 update yet? When I tried the fast preview on my Icon about two weeks ago it drained battery like a mofo so had to go back to 8.1.

There is a more recent build, yes. But still, YMMV in terms of how stable it is for you.
