I really think you will enjoy Madoka Magica if you like Mahou Shoujo shows at all. I'm not saying that ironically or sarcastically. Its a pretty cool show.

He's 10 years old or less and looks like he can buy porn, pick up women and smoke cigarettes without needing an ID unfortunately this sentence alone has alot more creativity than the show iitself, which has resorted to hur hur he looks like pedo for 90% of the shorts.

Kyubey was the best part of it, and its jpn voice.
Probably a bit younger to maximise the pedo joke but... yeah.
His older sister is a kugiloli (without the tsundere), who makes up the other 10% I look like a child joke(s?)

For me, it wasn't so much the mental image as the total lack of effort to actually sound like a dog. It's not exactly hard to do, yet so many pets in anime sound terrible.

also, that outfit is perfect for the style and character design.
She wears spats under the skirt, like the Precure. The skirt is basically just decoration. And the high heels... well, Umakoshi also used them in Heartcatch:
