Do you guys actually know the difference or just taking the piss?

I don't think its mattered which studio has worked on what, quality wise, since like 2009. Last thing B studio had been working on was Towa no Quon IIRC...

Say hello to your klutzy ditzy geeky Omigawa overlord!

DID YOU SAY WHAT I THINK YOU SAID?!?!

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

Regardless of how bad this may end up being, I can take solace in the fact that I will always be happy when watching it.

Guilty Crown 12

Once again, I can blame Shu for all this mess to begin with! If only he
didn't call his sister a monster back in the day, nothing would have happened!
I don't understand what made Inori
fall in love with him. Nothing he said or did really looked like something that would make a person wet their panties to me. I also found it funny that in episode 10 or 11 Ayase shouts Shu when her mech is hit. Why would she do that when she had the hots for Gai?
It makes little sense to me, but whatever.
Too bad they didn't really
save Mana, as I'm always up for some delicious incest.

Don't worry, the show only gets worse! XD

So? B Studio isn't doing much better with Xam'd and Towa no Quon.
I rather have a another Xam'd then a another Gosick or Heroman. Although E7 AO being studio A isn't much of a surprise since it's been rumoured they have been working on a new mecha series for a while.

Wandering Son - END

The plot was quite interesting, and the peer communication was what I assumed it would be. I am glad I finally got around to watching it after overlooking it last year.

I think it at this point its just a matter of resources, and what studio is free to work on what, unlike back in the day where there was a pretty clear distinction in terms of style and content. Wish ducky was here to clear this up lol.

Well, I guess A studio has been consistent in that its the studio that Kawamoto is usually involved in the most, but back in the day A used to pump out quality shows, unlike these days, but then again that goes for the entire studio at this point.

Question for Bones' fans that have been following the Ao announcements/rumors: is it by Studio A or by Studio B? Because the overall look of the show is closer to Studio A shows rather than to Studio B shows.

Who made brotherhood? Whoever did are best bones to me, the only bones anime I had a great time watching (usually the only thing I like about a bones show are there animation and great openings &eds)

23+ posts and only six of them from me!

Pretty damn swell, I'd say.

Onto two pages, I'd call that a grand success. I imagine that's more discussion about Angel's Egg than GAF has ever had. It might well be the most active discussion of it anywhere on the internet, for all I know.

This week's episode was good and so was the week before. Unfortunately it wasn't until second season that it got really good.

I'm still waiting on this week's episode but yeah I can definitely agree that after episode 12 things got more interesting.

The only thing which irks me so far during the series is the fact that
it looks like Gai is being resurrected? at least that's what I assumed from the teaser in the last episode I'd watched (ep16). It frustrates me when anime or games do this, it makes me think that it devalues the impact of that person's death and makes it feel cheap. Gai is a cool character and all but I think he should stay dead!

Granted, I still haven't watched this week's episode yet so I could be wrong and completely off course.....

IIRC Brotherhood was by D studio, which was setup for FMAB.

It's D, and they were set up recently and their first production was Brotherhood. They also made No.6 (lol), and Milos.

Ok, thats what I thought.

I was trying to remember what the hell they could have been doing since FMAB, guess I forgot Milos

Since there's a lot of discussion about the make up of BONES' studios, I guess we can discuss about this again. In terms of actual art and animation, the studio make up for BONES no longer means anything. This has been apparently for a few years now. They move their designers and animators between studios very easily depending on the needs of the projects.

In terms of "mecha animation specialty" which used to mean B Studio exclusively, they've shown that those people are mobile as well. Xam'd (B Studio) -> Star Driver (C Studio) -> E7AO (A Studio). Muraki isn't tied down to a single studio within BONES and are the people working with him.

So what does the studio format indicate? It actually indicates production first and foremost. The people who tend to be the stewards of each BONES Studio now are the producers and managers. They're not directors, character designers, writers, or animators. Those staff are put together on a project to project basis. The business and management minds in each studio are what define them now.

So what you're saying is A Studio has terrible management.

I guess this was all stuff from the first episode since most, if not all, of the scenes have equivalents in the first chapter of the manga.

You know, I guessed the same thing, but not because I've looked at outside sources, but because of the trailer itself. I mean, the way all the scenes looked made me believe they were from at least or two episodes because usually when you're making a trailer you take the coolest stuff from a bunch of episodes and string it together. That is, if you have more than one episode ready to go.
