Robot Carnival is kind of a big deal, right? For such a notable film, it's strange but I don't think it has ever had a legitimate release on disc in North America before.
Hopefully now that Night on the Galactic Railroad won't be out of print & only available for obscene prices that'll get a bit more exposure as well.
The Irregular at Magic High School Episodes 19- fini:
It's done GAF and what a ride is was. In reality, it was only boring for a few episodes at the beginning of the final arc, however, the ending was full of action and helped explain some of the back-story. As you can tell by the final episode, there has to be a second series to tie up a huge number of open ends including:
Mayumi Saegusa- Why did she leave suddenly? Does she really want to marry Tatsuya to get him status into the 10 great clans? She was an awesome character.. Tatsuya- Is he still even human if he has no human emotions left? Can he go back to his student status? Can he be normal again? How is he viewd by his classmates going forward. Wasn't he "released" from his bond with his little sister? Miyuki Shiba- Can she correct her feelings towads her brother and move on to a relationship with Masaki Ichijō?
Who are Mayumi and Tatsuya's parents? Who is their aunt, what is the full relationship here with the master magician?
So many questions left after the end of the first series. I really hope they do make the second series to continue the story. Thak you to whoever recommended this one, I know it is not universally praised, however, the character developement, the sci-fi injection, the good story arcs and high action sequences made this one well woth it. If they can incorporate the budding love relationship that are shown to be developing (not the brother and sister crap) thsi show could get even better in the second series...
Well, off to continue Puella Magi Madoka Magica and see where those acid trippy dungeons lead me down into the depressive abyss.
Most of these is explained in the parts the anime covers from the LN so without going into too much spoiler territory:
IIRC, Mayumi is the one who contacted the choppers to get the people out. She's just a tease at this point but yeah she's great.
Tatsuya's school life is slightly changed as you can imagine but he's more known due to his time during the 9 schools competition. The ones that know his true identity are his close circle of friends so nothing much going on there. All Miyuki did was release the seal on his powers. Usually, she uses most of her magic to seal his powers cause well he's OP.
No. All hail onii-sama.
The siblings dad is the head of Four Leaves Technology but doesn't really do much as a character. Their mother, on the other hand, is the twin-sister of the head of the Yotsuba clan. Kudou Retsu trained the twin sisters when they were younger.
If it is the one I watched then putting Morrigan and Dmitri on the cover is a fucking joke. Instead you spend the whole time following Giant Nobody, Creepy Wednesday Adams and Hsien-Ko. Also rock and roll zombie concert and a werewolf.
Morrigan got hardly any screen time at all and I was not happy.
I feel like my laziness has saved me a great deal of pain these past two seasons. It is the reason I never bothered to start Tokyo Ghoul or Cross Ange.

Let me get you some answers without spoilering S2 events.
Mayumi Saegusa was in charge of logistics in the last arc , she basicly used her status to help and coordinate everyone to safety.
She is awesome indeed. She doesn't want to get tatsuya in the 10 master clan because she is vaguely aware that tatsuya is a very special case. Do not worry , she has plenty of other arcs to be in if another serie is made. Beside she is already fianced to another character , aka Juumonji Katsuto. it's an order of her father.
Tatsuya is an inhuman being trapped in a body of fake human emotions, he cannot be normal again. He will get back being a student , but with more fame than before. The rest of the truth of tatsuya that some people know won't become public because it's in everyone interests of being silent. The relationship chart of tatsuya with others won't change much as a result.
The rest is way above the normal spoiler territory so i won't say much , look forward to a S2 or go read the books.
And yeah the serie is enjoyable and can be enjoyed. it's not the best action anime ever but there is nothing that is that bad , except the poor way the chapters are handled and the weird pacing the anime had at times. a problem that disappears if you're not watching 1 ep/week
Well now, let's be fair here. At least there were moments of not awful in there.
It could've been two seasons of Clannad. And that's like bringing someone back to life after torturing them to death in the worst way possible so you can do it again a second time and then reset it one more time at the very end because well, fuck the need for closure.
Classroom Crisis (airs in July) is directed by Kenji Nagasaki (Gundam BF, No. 6) at Lay-duce (Sinbad OADs), Fumiaki Maruto (Saekano, White Album 2) handling series configuration http://www.classroom-crisis.com/staff/
Original character designs by Hiro Kanzaki (Oreimo), that was already announced at Anime Japan 2015. And the boring CM announcing it all: http://a.pomf.se/mtpqva.mp4

You can safely say that as long that basara is near, every girl has every orientation possible.

- If that is the case, what was that whole conversation
Juumonji Katsuto had with Tatsuya outside the ball during the competition?
Also, I'm assuming the classmates know of his special powers, however, they are unaware that is is inhuman then... With him being inhuman, why is his sister, so "in-love" with him on an uncomfortable level?
Also, starting Madoka #3 now.... I think I'm scared....
Pierrot fucked the story up. I am really mad. The Amon fight was shit. They fucked with Juzo and his leg. No explaination for the one eyed ghouls and where they come from etc.
I can't tell if you're sarcastic, but I can only remember episode 11 having any decent animation. The prison episodes in particular had so bad animation even I noticed it.
Apparently, last episode has been a rushed production just met barely in time for the scheduled airing on Japanese TV stations (but reason enough for the delay at Crunchyroll), judging by recent 'tweets' from series' producer (at infinite) Takayuki Nagatani and director Mr. Mizushima:

Oh, I own the original Central Park Media release - I keep it in the re-sealable plastic it came in both because the film is precious to me and because it cost me so damn much.
Thank you for the heads-up on the blu-ray, though, that is positively wonderful news. The film is such a beautiful and mature meditation on death; one of my all-time favorites animu or otherwise.
It's gorgeous and it's all my favourite scenes and it's got some new stuff (some really hype new stuff I didn't know about at all!) but a cour of TTGL does not survive being crammed into two hours and smacking every surprise into your face at this compressed speed.
Yep, it really suffers from the classic "compilation movie" problem and I'm not just saying this as someone who enjoys the final arc in Gurren Lagann. The pacing of the story was clearly written around the TV structure.
Yes? There's some lousy perma-fog background, poor sense of spacing/direction, an abundance of cuts and otherwise just your typical tentacles and weapons flashing against each other. At least this sequence has some animation budget put into it.
Well, yes. But exactly because the everything else is so bad already I'm questioning why so many people kept watching even this second season when not even the fights are worth a damn.
But, as Shirobako has demonstrated or as you can learn through reading interviews, the world of TV anime production doesn't run like that. It's irregular and erratic. Sometimes there's just not enough time or enough money or enough people to produce the content in a regular and orderly fashion.
it makes me wonder if other countries animation studios have the same problems. Surely there are budget problems and time overruns and missed deadlines.

I know this isn't really a recommendation thread, but, other than making a new thread I figure I'd ask here.
I want to watch another series like Space Battleship Yamato 2199. The newer one, holy shit I love it, the ending was kinda tame, but overall it was really good. The live action movie sucked though.

They aren't painted, but there is a story reason for why they're black.
It's the result of
having his fingers and toes ripped off and then regenerating repeatedly during a 10-day long torture. It's also the reason his hair went from black to white
