To be fair, she has a good figure.

Personally, think she has more potential as a character now if this episode is anything to go by. Hope they make good use of her.

Gundam IBO 17

Slow build for Kudelia looks to be finally paying off.

On the mechs side things are escalating nicely. Finally Mika has an opponent he can't just stomp. Still surprised Orga hasn't got a gundam yet, I guess he's gonna stay the brains of the operation.

Haikyuu 17

As much as i like Hinata and Kageyama, I enjoy the episodes that don't focus on them a lot. Poor yamaguchi can't catch a break and the coach was right to try and ream for that.

Is it good? I've been wanting to play it but I always just grind multiplayer instead.

How edgy is Black Ops III?

lol

It's not bad, but yeah, the story is super edgy and super crazy off the rails sci-fi. Some parts drag on and on and the auto save set me up in the worst of situations sometimes where you die almost immediately upon spawning.

Oh and fuck "realistic" mode, (was getting sniped off-screen from enemies) that shit was insufferable. I played on the second hardest difficulty mode.

Gundam Iron Blooded Orphans 16

Now we're getting back to the Gundam I know and...love?
Lots of bodies in this one including Fumitan who's betrayal remorse and redemption equals death was so obviously telegraphed, you'd think there would be a subversion at some point. Given that there's no real reason for her to turncoat in the first place, that's what I was expecting.

Now the question is what will Kudelia do going forward?

Maria the Virgin Witch 03

Wow, I didn't realize Maria wanted to change humanity as a whole. I thought she just wanted to stop fighting whenever it bothered her :| well, this is a tricky one. I don't know how this will end "well".

The limits of what the hell the coils can do is so hard to determine now. They're starting to look more magical than technological.

Hand-to-hand fight scene was cool but it looked a little rough. Still i appreciate anything that has action scenes that don't use speed lines or any other shortcut.

Best scenes in the whole fucking episode

Ya know this show is more fun to watch than I was expecting it to be. Kogane vs. Hat dude was a great fight to watch. Seeing little girls go into blind rage mode in anime is always hilarious.

Gjallarhorn really did plan this pretty well. The newsies asked to be dragged into this, so they're being dragged into this. Kudelia is finally doing something. Gali Gali and his new buddy are good, but no match for Mika, Akihiro, and Shino's mighty Ryuusei-Go.

Creepy mansion, creepy Butler, asshole victim. This episode really checks the supernatural horror murder trope well.

I will never quit telling people that I despised the ending of this show. But it's really good until you get there.

Dimension W Episode 4

That was pretty fun. Especially the horror world. I feel some of the exposition was a bit on the lazy side, but hey, it's nice to see Krul from Seraph of the End.

Grimgar Episode 4

Man, I can't believe
someone died when the episode started with a bell tolling.
And then the priest talked about how happy he was that he got the busty mage to finally talk to him.
And then he talked about how great it was to be in a good party.

Also the gang can rekt the assholes of normal goblins now. That said, productions seem to suffering a bit. There's a fight scene that seemed unfinished, and I couldn't tell where the hell anyone was in relation to each other.

Oh well, at least the magic in the show looks cool.

Dimension W 04

These Numbers coils and their connection to the otherside are such high level tech that they might as well be fucking magic
at this point because that's the only way I can make sense of the fact that the echos of ghost from people murdered in the past are simitaluously existing in the past and the future at the same time and able to attack people in the future.

I like the shift in tone to a new spooky mansion. It's pretty tropy but a lot of crazy stuff happened so it's fine. That bathroom scene though ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°).

And I still don't share your vehement dislike of the ending, not at all, but it's worth pointing out that was the same resolution they reached in the original manga.

In any case...as far as I am concerned, Maria the Virgin Witch remains a very good show that happened to be criminally underwatched.

Right, so after a pair of bad episodes we are back on good footing again as the Gjallarhorn execute the final phase of the brutal oppression. One thing I really do like is how much agency Kudella has; to the point where she is arguably the protagonist of this series.

I remember really liking Deadman Wonderland. But then it sorta just... Ends? I don't remember much aside from the fact that I waited for some kind of continuation and it never got one.

The manga continued on and had a proper ending, but the anime wasn't popular to get a continuation. I think all the manga has been translated officially as well.

Oh yes, I can certainly buy that this series come to us from the creator of Darker Then Black as the science of DW here would not be out of place in that work. Anyway, it was interesting to see them bring in elements of the horror genre this episode.

Grimgar 04

Tank confirmed shit, would not party with never pulled aggro for the healer. Hunter didn't do any long range attack, mage has CC spells but didn't use them rogue was the only one who tried to pull aggro off healer.

Whole party is shit and got their healer killed. Good job fuck ups. As someone who plays healer this party is our worst kind of nightmare. Have fun with your 1 tank four DPS party. Seeing their party get absolutely wrecked by that well organized gobs was a treat and scary as fuck. Them gobs ain't shit to be fucked with.

Maturity, bitches.
Just finished all the Animator Expo shorts. Too bad about the creepy story in Robot on the Road, I liked everything else about it :p

The ending was so weird.
She discovers what he's doing, is extremely disgusted by it, but just lets him go?

Yeah, Kudelia having a pivotal role in the story is great. If there's anything that's bothered me in previous Gundam shows, it's that you have these heroines that take up a lot of time but don't end up doing anything in regards to the story at all. There's only a few in Gundam, as a franchise, that really get that time and do something at all. The current set of episodes have done a pretty good job of setting the stage and giving a reason for Kudelia to go to war instead of just speak out as an emissary for peace/change.

More people watching good anime warms my heart.
Adding this to my watchlist.

Best anime OP of all time.

Uh, I dropped Ninja Slayer a few episodes in, do I need to know anything before jumping into the finale ? Surely, even this shit-tier script had to have some kind of progression in the story

5 hours to marathon 7 episodes of Subete F. I can do this.

Durarara X2 28 or something

Good stuff. More Saika, some Shizuo and Kiba drawing the short end of the stick.

Okada Gundam - 17

Step up from the last couple episodes and finally some good old mecha action again. Let's see what Kudelia plans to do.

Dimension W - 4

We full mystery horror now? I approve.

Grimgar - 04

Hahahahaha, they're fucked.

Also what is going to happen with Zuka?! I feel so bad for her.

The amount of references in this episode are insane. Gundam, Chip and Dale, Rocky, Dragonball, Cardcaptor, Dragon Quest, Ronald McDonald, Star Trek, Sailor Moon, Mazinger, Super Mario, JoJo(they actually spoil The World's power) etc.

Plus it had Magical girl Behoimi, truly the hero we deserve.

Hmm, sorry for the dumb question I ask here every season or so : are there must watch shows this season ?

Oh and I didn't even know they made a Tokyo Ghoul anime, was it good ?

I'd say ERASED, Rakugo are the best shows this season from what I've seen so far, but Dimension W and KonoSuba are also good. In the short shows department, I'd say Galko, Sekko Boys and Marshmallow Ojisan are all fun to watch.

This was a good looking episode from an art direction perspective. It's not like the show has been bad looking but I thought this was a bit of a standout primarily in the backgrounds, probably due to the change in environment and outdoors shots (of which they're easier to look pretty). The episode director also utilized some new tricks for the show, mainly some slight depth of focus transitions and playing with the editing a bit more than I remember.
I appreciate the arc being a two parter and hope that's the case with some of the arcs going forward as it allows the pacing to breathe a bit more and doesn't feel as cramped. I'm not sure I follow everything going on with the students and Numbers aspect but I appreciate the change up in genre. The show is dabbling more in horror than I expected but I think it flows well enough due to the nature of the actual Dimension W.

The church scene was done poorly with still shots and a lack of any emotion from me. They're pretty fucked now with their team so they better start recruiting. At least Kirei Kotomine helped out.

Well that was cathartic, especially with Jouji Nakata voicing the guy rubbing it in. The only reason I'm still watching this is to see these insipid characters suffer, hopefully they keep it up.

Oh and thank god the show is done with that stupid intro introducing what Dimension W is despite being three episodes into the actual anime.

Grimgar 4

It's hard to believe it's not an MMO-style fantasy world when they literally learn "skills" that are regular weapon movements. Thrusting, cutting diagonally, stabbing in the back, smashing a mace, etc. At least they're not yelling out the names of these attacks.

This show really overdoes it with insert songs. Didn't really feel much during the church onwards.

Is it common for seiyu to have that on the side? The only one I know thus far that does regular work and eroges is
Asami Imai (Chihaya Kisaragi, Tsubaki / Izayoi in the Blazblue games).

My understanding is that it's not that unusual but they usually do it under a separate name.

Norio Wakamoto voices Edwin Black for example.
