I just finished Jormungand on blu.

Good lord, what a waste of time, that would have been better if they stripped the entire quantum computer main plot and just had them do killer shenanigans for an entire season.

Does it say if the new Berserk will be a refresh or a sequel/prequel of the older series/movies? Will one need to be already familiar with the previous works to watch this?

True. The author set up a new exciting stage for this series, but we never see the consequence of what Koko did.

The author seemed to know that what she was doing was pointless and ineffective with having Kasper needling her by pointing out how useless her plan is. But... she does it anyway and Jonah goes along with it because of reasons, and we don't know what happens after if anything.

God. Damnit. Goddamnit.

Wow, WOWOW is doing anime again. They're airing Mizushima's new show in April too. New Anime Premiere slot. I guess Berserk will be uncensored on WOWOW and rekt'd on MBS?

I haven't seen the show in 4 years and the thread that I posted my final thoughts in has since been nuked because of stupid shenanigans in old animegaf, but I thought that the ending's ambiguity is part of what the show is going for because it was always about the competing philosophies of war, not the world under this supposedly new world order.

What people see in the utter tripe that's Saya no Uta is beyond me. It starts with a somewhat interesting premise but it's all downhill from there.

It also contains some poorly justified loli porn, so, no thanks.

I can't help but feel Utena completely wrecking opponents in a single shot via stock footage really undercuts the really compelling antagonist stories somehow.

He also said that he's in charge of production, this isn't something that he was asked to make. Which makes me wonder if this is a VN or something, or if Nitro+ has enough Madoka/Steins;Gate/Touken bucks saved up to actually fund their own anime.

So I've started both gintama and HxH now with the promise of watching at least one episode a day of each.

So that will probably take some time.

This was a very good episode on identity. A very liberating feeling when Aika realizes that she can just be herself and not as someone else, in this case, Alicia.

The messages in each episode are short but the show takes its own time to present them. Normally it would seem like a drag but it goes well with the show's theme.

Ao no Kanata being that high is really weird. It's fairly...whatever as a show with like 2 or 3 kinda funny characters and a CG sport that makes no sense. It's a nice mindless watch but I'd probably forget it existed if I didn't have a note letting me know what I'm watching this season
