Gundam Build Fighters 25 END

Gonna suck in 10 years when everyone finds out Plavsky Particle exposure leads to cancer.

Ok final ep, I didn't really understand what was going on or why everyone was freaking out but it was fun to watch. I also don't get why
Reiji leaving would be a big deal. He's a freaking prince, couldn't he just get some more Plavsky and come back whenever he wants?
All the serious stuff just falls flat. Like wanting to
protect Aila's gundam and Bearguy III. I can understand the desire to protect something as awesome as Bearguy but they're freaking gunpla, they can just repair them later.
"Serious" stuff aside though I really enjoyed the show. Had great action and was pretty darn fun. Season 2 when?

Now that I think about it, I never watched the Haruhi movie. I should probably add it to my backlog along with a rewatch of the original series.

Oh god. I'm dying you have no idea. I'm fucking crying at the thought of the author for the novel.

Author: I need to make a popular novel so this gets picked up for an anime. But so far it's just about kids having fun in the summer....hmmmmm......

Critics are calling Haruhi: Endless Eight the biggest novel of the season

"I didn't think he'd do it again. But then he did. Holy shit. My mind is blown"- Andrew Sarris

"The deconstruction of the sci fi genre contained within this pages just springs into action as you feel you are there with Haruhi and co. Wow what a novel" -Pauline Kael

"I got paid to review this positively" -Roger Ebert

"His penis is honoring her" - Youtube commenter

Admiral pls.

2 (4?) good reasons to watch Date A Live II this season. I wasn't a fan of the Yamais' design when vol 5 of the LN came out, but somewhere along the line that's changed for, uh, entirely wholesome reasons.

"Nisekoi"..."end"...

Ahahahahahahahahahahahaha.
If it keeps up its current WSJ rankings this may actually become a reality.

Guys I hear nothing but great things about the Haruhi Suzumiya movie from people I trust. Should I give the whole series a watch so I can watch that? Or should I not bother?

I watched the movie without seeing the series, with only the vague knowledge I'd gleaned via osmosis from the anime community and a friend sitting by my side to answer any other questions I had. While I still greatly enjoyed it that way, it's not the method I'd recommend.

I wish the Kurumi cat ears part was in the anime.

Kaiji 24-26 -END-
Yeah it went exactly as expected. It was so obvious too. Kaiji should really have noticed.
Also stopped pushing his luck. So dumb he is. But this is why he's moe.

Gundam Build Fighters Episode 25:

It was the end of an age, it was then end of an era, it was the end to Gundam Build Fighters. The penultimate episode may of sucked but the finale here delivered an all out all-star Gunpla battle for the ages. Though god damn we never got our proper Meijin-Reiji fight. The final separation of Sei and Reiji was pretty damn emotional, more emotional then I was expecting. Also, I am just going to assume that Alia was thrown in the dungeons where she belongs because that makes me happy. God damn Mondays are going to feel so empty now. Anyway, Gundam Build Fighters is perhaps the biggest surprise for me for the past two seasons, maybe even more then Log Horizon. This show should have been bloody awful; an embarrassing shitstain on the franchise comparable to the likes of Victory or Gundam SEED Destiny. The reason being is this is Yu-Gi-Oh! or Beyblade or some other toyetic installment of a merch franchise. Gundam reduced to mere children's toys. Yet here we are, Gundam Build Fighters now stands tall as one of the all time greatest Gundam entries ever and is mostly transcendent over its stigmas because it has a lighter touch. Also because this is pure Gundam porn and features soem of the greatest mech combat seen in a good long while. ALL HAIL THE GLORIOUS 2D MECHA ACTION!

Best to stick with the (Now Released!) VN for Steins;Gate so I'd recommend NANA or finishing off Nodame.

Nononononono. Kon is so gorgeous.
Hishamaru is admittedly cool but nonetheless an abomination who needs to go the fuck away so we can have real Kon back.

Kon is great/awesome but
hishamaru is so much more to my tastes so whatever happens it'll be fine but more ishamaru is needed

Speaking of which, is there ANYONE here who managed to make it to the end of Saint Seiya Omega? It should be finished or about to finish and apparently Toei has decided not to continue with more seasons, but it was apparently sub Doki-tier by all accounts and I'd like to know if there was actually anyone who had the willpower to see it through.

Last weeks episode was pretty good focusing on the best parts of Omega. Looking forward to the final episode this week.

Log Horizon 02

God dammit. Flying mounts literally ruin -every- MMO. I guess if you're going to have them might as well make them ultra rare.

This show makes me feel like dusting off my wow account. So far so good.

The time loop shenanigans were expected, though that last one they ended the episode on was pretty amusing. The rest waits until Summer I suppose, I'm not sure I'll keep watching to be honest.

Narag, who's the cat in your avatar?

The Wrap Up:

Sekai Sekufu

This is upper shite. That old guy won at life. His wife dies and he marries her younger sister as general of the world 's army. If that's not winning then I don't know what is. Is there a good explanation for Roboko's transformation? I needed an explanation on how the first ep tied into the series.

Buddy Complex

Why isn't Bizon dead? How does one survive getting shot then going through a time loop with no mech to catch them out of thin air? The space decompression should've crushed him like it did his mech in episode 1. Where's the old Bizon comparison shot? The ending was kind of shite. At least give us a shot of Zogillia forces branding Hina a traitor.

Log Horizon 01

This might be the most ridiculously awful/awesome OP I have ever seen in anime. Episode was okay. I think I'll enjoy this more than SAO but that bar isn't even off the ground.

I watched 4 episode of Sword Art Online, then 4 of Log Horizon at the recommendation of a guy called Awesome Engine on twitter. As today I'm 17 episodes into Log Horizon and am not looking back at Sword Art Online. Log is funny, genuine, and poses interesting questions I'm not sure Sword Art will ever get to in its plodding po-faced way.

So much heart so much sadness damn the shit nekota-san and yukie are going through is dark, it's uplifting how they don't let the card fate dealt them keep there spirits down.

Nekota is one crazy badass mofo and theses fights & everything in this flash back arc is brutal.

Hajime no ippo 25

That was fucking insane what an Incredibly beautiful ending to a Season.

Best season ending episode ever.

Himitsu no Akko-chan (1989) movies 1-2

Toei-produced classic-style magical girl show directed by Hiroki Shibata, who also was an episode director for Sailor Moon later on. These movies are basically just well-produced episodes attached to other movies in their theatrical release. Overall, I liked them. The main conceit is the protagonist can transform into anything and is used to good effect, and this kind of thing played a notable part in Doremi too. The cast was lively, and speaking of which, there is a girl obsessed with getting "big scoops" that is incredibly similar to the photographer girl in Doremi.
