At least Kirino is great all the time, right?

She absolutely is.

A large portion of the fanbase seems to hate her, but these people are crazy.

I would say the whole second season was pretty crappy. They rushed the material a lot. Two cour series would have been better.

This is true though. I was really disappointed by the second season as a whole. It's still worth watching if you have no other way of experiencing the material, but they left out so much good stuff from the novels and the pacing felt really off a lot of the time as a result. Makes me sad to see a series I love handled so poorly.

Ironically enough, the ending (by far the most controversial part of the series) was probably the part they adapted most successfully.

That doesn't sound right...

Edit: geez, apparently it is. I haven't used the roku app in a long time now, that's unbelievable.

The PS4/Xbone versions of the app support 720p, why can't Roku's box? Roku can do HD easily.

Also, I wish Funimation would bring there video app to PS4/Xbone.

I maintain the same stance I've taken before -- tsun Kirino is a complete bitch, but dere Kirino is somehow amazing. Which balances out to an average character, I guess.

Really? How? All the girls in Oreimo are great.

Just when I was starting to feel like Kirino was too much tsun and too little dere she started delivering the dere, and it was a great flood of dere, my body wasn't ready for this.

And looking at disc sales it makes no sense that they rushed the series like they did. Really weird all around.

Possibly the worst Tony Stark I've ever seen:

Ugh.

Cute chibi

When does Oreimo start to suck? The OVAs? First 12 episodes were really good.

It never does :)

OOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

EDIT: Oh, that's right! Kuroneko was making cat ears for Kirino! I hope she wears them on Season 2. HGGGGGGGGNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN

Maid Kuroneko was a gift from god.

Magical Girls Club Quartet: Alien X From A Zone (1987)

Kind of a one-off OVA featuring four of Studio Pierrot's magical girl characters from the 1980's, except they have to join together as a team to fight a tentacle monster that has been attacking girls. No, it's not porn. This also predates Sailor Moon, which is rather interesting. It also had a few funny moments.

Thanks All, Going to give Uchouten Kazoku and Samurai Champloo a try first then have a look at the others recommended. Once again AnimeGAF comes through for me :)

Quick update for all that helped. Have finished Uchouten Kazoku and really enjoyed that, watched FLCL and enjoyed it even if I wasn't quite sure what the hell was going on some of the time, and am currently nearing the end of Samurai Champloo and loving it.

Sounds like Gbraga might be ok with the ending...

I actually like the tsun side of Kirino. She was my favorite character in Oreimo, but
I still wanted kuroneko to win, because... well... incest.

Could try watching Wolf Children too.

You seen AnoHana? I hear it's good.

My anime artbook collection so far:

There's at least 6 other Clannad artbooks as well, but most of those are about the VN.

Clannad... 'artbook'....?

*barfs*

Nah but seriously good on you, wish I had some money to spend on anime merchandise

Looks like the JoJo info on Crunchyroll was legit after all, and not only do they have the first season as a catalog title but they'll be simulcasting Stardust Crusaders as well.

I always wonder why nothing is available in Japan, do they have their own streaming service with all this stuff?

Anyway, that's great to know! I hope we get more Lotus Juice

The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya

Question: I think I'm on the
4th loop
of Endless Eight...are these even worth watching? If not what episode do I skip to?

Seraphis Cain

bad gameplay lol
The teacher (Koigakubo is her name, apparently...was it ever said in the show?) is one of the best side characters in Toradora. She's so great. :lol

BEST AMV EVER. SUCH POETRY. Actually that's the reason I decided to watch the show, I was all "I want a show with a moe girl getting hit by a truck" and even better in the actual show it was a loli. It's like god himself granted me this gift.

It's admirable how plain stupid she was.

Problem solved.

Well, I mean, I can understand that
she wants a relationship between Ryuji and Minori to use as an excuse for why Ryuji hasn't shown any signs of feelings for her (Taiga), and she also doesn't want her feelings for Ryuji to get in the way of their relationship. If she confessed to Ryuji, it would leave him conflicted and probably lead to pain, and she doesn't want that for him.

At the same time, she has to bury these feelings and watch as the boy she cares about tries for another girl, who happens to be her best friend. And so she pushes Ryuji away, saying that she's strong enough to survive on her own, without realizing that this may be hurting Ryuji's feelings.

It's just a bit frustrating to watch, luckily there are other entertaining antics to keep the show enjoyable.

The teacher (Koigakubo is her name, apparently...was it ever said in the show?) is one of the best side characters in Toradora. She's so great. :lol

They've just called her Yuri-chan, as far as I know. (And that's one heck of a nickname.)
