anyone wanna come play hang with me in somd and help me shovel snow i mean play video games
Fuck provisions. My girlfriend lives 100 yards from a Papaya Dog and those lunatics aren't closing for 10 inches of snow. You'd have to be an idiot to not think that. Bread and milk lobby is strong.
Holy carp. I am not ready for this amount of shoveling. I can't wait until I have a house with a garage and don't have to clean two cars and 2 parking spots.
So excited. Hope we get a decent amount. Northern NJ here, about 30 minutes outside the city.
I have no plans this weekend and live in an apartment. My car is also in a public garage.
The plan is pajamas and video games.
Telecommute if you can. I'm not going in to work tomorrow. Just going to hunker down and stay away from the inevitable stupidity in the evening commute.
... How do you plan on getting your car from the garage to the street?
Heated driveway
Yeah, i'll see what the store has left. I have a bit of stuff to COOK, but if there's no power, I need food I can eat without cooking. Oh well. Hopefully i'm just snowed in, warm and cozy, playing videogames all weekend :/
They have those out west.
My wife has a friend who has one in Utah I think.
Do you have a propane grill? I will be double-checking my tonight.
Digging my way to the grill will be interesting though.
Going to be stocking some wood in the garage though, so I can keep the wood stove going in the event of power outage. No power means no fan on the stove though, so we'd probably be sleeping/camping in the fireplace room.
Our standards for "apocalypse" storm is a bit higher (maybe not for Toronto...) but really bad storms have led to empty shelves, gas shortages, and people freakout out here as well.

That's exactly what I'm doing. Driving around DC Metro is hazardous enough in clear conditions.

they downgraded it. Was hoping to have Friday off.
We'll see though seems like it changes every hour.
I can't get any consistent predictions for Boston
The Whole Foods in Silver Spring was crazy town.
There's a brand new whole foods next to my place... i've never been. I'm afraid to now.

I bet Tinder is currently on fire in the northeast. Everyone wants their blizzard fuck buddy I mean snuggle bunny
I can't imagine getting snowed in with a stranger
Hermanos! Mine Hill over here!Same, Lake Hopatcong. Losing power would totally ruin my gaming/pajama weekend.

Yup. Sounds like a good plot for a horror movie.
It's a movie already. Look up Two Night Stand

Same here....one only a mile or two away and I still haven't gone in. Would be crazy there right now.
My fiancé' was in Rochester, NY for work, so I joined her and worked from the hotel. We were supposed to fly out to KC (home) tomorrow.
We're stranded in a hotel now until Sunday night.

Back when superstorm sandy was coming, it was craigslist that had all the listings for blizzard hookups. Now that Tinder is more widely used, I bet Tinder is experiencing those requests nowI can't imagine getting snowed in with a stranger
