I thought it was an Obi-wan movie.

Really curious as to what the weekend to weekend is gonna look like, especially seeing that the Saturday-to-Sunday numbers were more or less flat.

I recall reading that Titanic had a 20% repeat viewing rate versus the norm of 5%. I'll try and find the article that had those figures.

Rogue One sounds cool but I don't get why they'd release it between mainline trilogy entries, considering when it takes place and all.
As far as I'm aware of, no it hasn't been confirmed. There have been hints towards it though.

Hard to say. The Dark Knight was down 8.5% on Sunday. The Dark Knight Rises was down 10.5%. Their second weekend drops were 10% apart.

MPAA reported the following breakdown for overall domestic tickets sold in 2014:
Caucasian - 54%
Hispanic - 23%

Yeah, Trank was reported to be working on a Boba Fett film before he walked, I believe.
The Obi-Wan movie is just a rumor, and has never been more than that.

North means better than 55%? Seems reasonable. I think somewhere between 50-55%.
Shame. You know he probably had a fantastic version of this movie going in pre-production. And it would've received great reviews. We'll probably never see it. That's reality, though.

I think an Obi-Wan movie where he is ostracized and feared despite always protecting Luke from afar would be a lot more interesting than more Boba Fett pandering, but what do I know?

Anyway, a 50-55% hold puts this film's second weekend in the 111-124mil range.

$248m OW in December ain't no joke
All that comes to mind for me is Avengers 3 (which is split in two and might hurt its numbers) and Justice League if BvS kicks ass and gets everyone real fucking hyped.
I can see Civil War coming close if they start putting Spidey all over the marketing, but I'm not sure anything will beat $248m that's currently announced.
Maybe something like Jurassic World that kinda came out of nowhere and blew all expectations out of the water?
Not even a Marvel vs DC movie would do it

It'll be something that will surprise everyone by heavy walk-in numbers, just like Avengers and JW.
I wasn't specifying December to be clear. Unless mainline Star Wars returns to that slot in the future, that record could stay for a decade.
