But seriously, Disneys movie always tend to have ridiculously high budget.
Not that it matters after a $2.8B box-office gross, but weren't those $500M costs for Avatar debunked?
Sometimes I think GAF takes the highest budget rumour as a film's gospel cost, regardless of the credibility of the rumour. People were throwing around $300-400M budgets for Transformers 3 as well.

We'll see, but you guys are kidding yourselves if you think JC is gonna be a bomba.
I was more impressed that the entire theater was packed with kids under 10, and not ONE of them made a peep the whole show.
And critics said kids would be bored due to the film's pacing. Ha.
I've still never seen Mann's Miami Vice.
I've still never seen Mann's Miami Vice.
It's great and so is John Ortiz.
maybe it was quiet because it was so boring the kids fell asleep
I hope JC doesn't bomb just for Stanton's career to continue in live action films...
It seems like they knew GR wasn't coming near the first one based off that budget. Looks like it will be a success.
It would have done better if Disney marketed the movie. I barely saw anything for it on their own channel.
Didn't like the film, eh?
No, I was actually surprised myself. All the kids from where I could see were invested heavily in the film, never fidgeting, or talking or crying.
In comparison, when I went to see Chronicle the previous week, the entire theater was teenagers and young adults, and none of them would shut the eff up.
If Avatar really cost only $300 million, we'd be seeing mo-cap extravaganzas on that technological level all the time.Around $300m. Not $500m.
Yeah, it's really good. And it's so weird. That was being marketed as a summer blockbuster? What the hell?edit: Seriously though, it's a great movie. And I'm glad to see it get more of a re-evaluation from people as the years go on. Those early days after its release were dark dark days.
Why on earth are you so interested in this film? It looks horrible from all angles (save for music I suppose).I hope it doesn't bomb because I have a feeling I'm going to want the sequel. But I have a feeling it will bomb.

So glad 'This Means War' opened poorly.
It looks like absolute rubbish.
Tom Hardy, you're better than this...
It is absolute rubbish. Hardy is amazing in it though as always. Pine is unbearable!
I've still never seen Mann's Miami Vice.
Rectify that shit and then roll right into Mann and David Milch (Deadwood)'s Luck.

who watches these denzel movies
I never liked what I saw from it (I watched the first ep) and was never a fan of Deadwood.
How is Luck?. I mostly enjoyed the first episode months ago.
Just finished Deadwood, LOVED it. Too bad it just ended though. I wish Milch would just put out a novel or two to continue/finish his story.
This is like, a mortal sin in my eyes man. You have crossed a line here from which there is no going back, cocksucker!
Everyone loves Denzel.who watches these denzel movies
