Look there are political, social and economical implications that make up a terrorist not only nationality and religion. It would be wise to find out why such people go to such lengths for their beliefs instead of just saying since they are of this X and Y hence we must presume guilt. We step up our efforts to find the people responsible, grow our intelligence agencies accordingly to counter the threat, and move on with our lives. What you propose is not a viable solution as terrorist attacks can happen all the same. Its the same as the laws requiring all the restrictions with firearms due to criminal activity. Criminals can buy guns at various locations without a background check - problem not solved. Terrorists can get into the city with the wide variety of illegal immigrants and drugs that come into the country every day - problem not solved.

...and then people call me extreme (well extreme is nicest word I could find) when I say that most of the republicans are a bunch of uneducated (uncultured could be a better word though because people keep confusing education with schools which nowadays do not educate, they're preparing the future corporation slaves) hateful rednecks (and in case you want to bash me please note that it's just an opinion, and that I said "most" not "all"). They don't want to allow gays to exersice their rights although it does not affect them in any way, they want to limit muslims' civil liberties, they accept fascistic laws like the Patriot Act, they encourage or accept war etc etc. So what's next? Again, as I told another, if there is another attack on an order of magnitude comparable to 9/11, will you still oppose these measures? How else can they be sure to prevent an attack?

I'm more likely to be killed by a white guy and/or a car than a Muslim. Restricting white guys and cars would protect me more.

Not so. As well, I have stated that I would oppose what I'm proposing, were it implemented AFTER 9/11. Everything I've stated is contingent on another attack. If that happens, I don't see how we have any choice but to limit access to our country from people that come from those countries. What would you have us do?
