Yeah, this was a classic Wordle word. After guess #1 I came up with 6 words it could be, and ordered them thusly:

taste
waste
paste
haste
baste
caste

Fortunately for me it was not 'caste' as I would have missed it. Even more fortunately it was my 2nd possibility. I checked my history and I don't believe we've EVER had a word ending in 'aste' before, which is surprising.
