Its no longer about HIM. THAT'S the reason he wanted out of United.
Anyone believing its because of training ground facilities and/or technology employed by the club or any of the other crap he spewed in his interview is fooling themselves. He joined United when those same things were in place and had no issue last season when he was banging in the goals.

Ten Hag doesn't have to deliver anything next season. His job won't be on the line if he fails to win any trophies. He won't be backed by the club and what is more important right now is for him to get the right players in that suits his style so he can mould a title winning team.

Remember when Rangnick said the club needs 'open heart surgery' well you can see that Ten Hag is doing exactly that not just by the players he's recruiting but also the culture. The playing squad is more together now than ever before.

Hell even Burnley won't have him as Kompany said they 'want players that can run' and we know Rangnick complained about Ronaldo's inability to press. Ronaldo even admitted to not liking that style of play.
Also one of the reasons why he was so poor under Ten Hag.

Rangnick could never get Ronaldo to play the way he wanted to which is a high pressing system similar to Klopp at Liverpool.
Ronny is a poacher, a static old school striker that needs to be fed from the midfield that relies on his killer instinct inside the box to convert chances.
Man United covered more km in a match when Ronaldo was not playing. Also they won more games without him. If that is not clear enough that his type of player is a dying breed then I dunno what is.

Yes he scored a few goals last season but he's not willing to adapt to a new manager or style of play. Hence why he underperformed for Man United and why his position is under threat in the Portuguese national team.

I know what type of striker he is. I’m also pretty sure ManU knew exactly what kind of striker he was as well. To sign a 37 year old that doesn’t press and try to make him a pressing striker makes zero sense.

My point was that Rangnick and Ronaldo agreeing the club will take a couple years to recover because of it needing “open heart surgery”. They’re pretty much on the same page. The club has issues internally. Let’s not act like Ronaldo’s was the first player or coach to to point out issues within the club.

He was signed by Ole. Not Ten Hag.
Also there's the big changes at executive level after Ole was fired. Those same execs were responsible for the dire performance of the club on the pitch for the last decade since Sir Alex left. When Ole went there was a major reshuffling throughout the club and the exec level.
So really Ronaldo was signed by different manager under a different regime.

You can't blame any of what happened with Ronaldo on Ten Hag and his backroom staff. Nor can you blame the facilities at the club. Ronaldo knew what the facilities were like when he joined. Again he never complained when he was playing for Ole because Ole was stroking his ego.

i understand he wasn’t signed under Ten Hag and that he wanted to make some changes. But Ten Hag expecting him to change his play style at his age was unrealistic. He already changed his style once. He’s not gonna change it at 37. It’s always worked for him and his teams. He’s also not capable of playing Ten hag style at that age. I’m pretty sure no one is

But he kept insisting he’s an important part of the team instead of making it clear he’s taking the team to a different approach which he should obviously know Ronaldo wouldn’t be capable of doing.

Shit just got messy when it should of been obvious for both of them to understand it wasn’t gonna work. I think Ten hags a good coach and I have nothing against him but there should of been better communication between both sides.

Edit. He actually did complain about the facilities under Ole. He brought it up the first month he was there. Apparently he got them to fix some stuff up. People are only hearing it now because of the interview.

Bruno can’t play with Ronaldo because his style of play relies on this Hail Mary long balls that strikers with speed can catch up to. He also tends to drift very far forward sometimes playing as a striker. If Utd adopt a style of play that requires breaking down defences, Bruno won’t fit the team.

It was worth the risk. Croatia beating Brazil in FT (90 min) is paying 10-1 odds. It was worth putting down a walet breaking $5 on it. And Croatia winning the cup was 30-1. Did that too.

Not true at all. They’re not playing at their best but you can’t judge from a couple games what they’re capable of. You need to look at the bigger picture.
