Man United vs Cadiz if you fancy watching anything, starts in 2 minutes:
Doesn't want to be at United because he's no longer the focal point of the attack. The team is not being built or moulded around him.Messi is 2.5 years younger than Ronaldo and playing in a farmer’s league - so it’s expected that he’s still going stronger.
United haven’t won anything in 10 years so I don’t think him being at Utd really was the problem. He did great last season - this season he clearly doesn’t want to be here.
We’ll have to wait and see how Ten Hag does - he was given a massive war chest this season. He has to deliver something next season for sure.
Ronaldo denied yesterday that he was going to Al-nassir
Officially a petulant child. Why would anyone want Ronaldo, hes officially a has been.
So Ronaldo’s pretty much on the same page as Rangnick?Doesn't want to be at United because he's no longer the focal point of the attack. The team is not being built or moulded around him.
Its no longer about HIM. THAT'S the reason he wanted out of United.
Anyone believing its because of training ground facilities and/or technology employed by the club or any of the other crap he spewed in his interview is fooling themselves. He joined United when those same things were in place and had no issue last season when he was banging in the goals.
Ten Hag doesn't have to deliver anything next season. His job won't be on the line if he fails to win any trophies. He will be backed by the club and what is more important right now is for him to get the right players in that suits his style so he can mould a title winning team.
At the moment he's still recruiting and that takes years because the players he wants won't all be available at the same time.
Remember when Rangnick said the club needs 'open heart surgery' well you can see that Ten Hag is doing exactly that not just by the players he's recruiting but also the culture. The playing squad is more together now than ever before.
So Ronaldo’s pretty much on the same page as Rangnick?
I know what type of striker he is. I’m also pretty sure ManU knew exactly what kind of striker he was as well. To sign a 37 year old that doesn’t press and try to make him a pressing striker makes zero sense.No.
Rangnick could never get Ronaldo to play the way he wanted to which is a high pressing system similar to Klopp at Liverpool.
Ronny is a poacher, a static old school striker that needs to be fed from the midfield that relies on his killer instinct inside the box to convert chances.
Man United covered more km in a match when Ronaldo was not playing. Also they won more games without him. If that is not clear enough that his type of player is a dying breed then I dunno what is.
Yes he scored a few goals last season but he's not willing to adapt to a new manager or style of play. Hence why he underperformed for Man United and why his position is under threat in the Portuguese national team.

My point was that Rangnick and Ronaldo agreeing the club will take a couple years to recover because of it needing “open heart surgery”. They’re pretty much on the same page. The club has issues internally. Let’s not act like Ronaldo’s was the first player or coach to to point out issues within the club.
Also didn’t they fire Rangnick?
Messi and company chatting and having fun with Agüero.
i understand he wasn’t signed under Ten Hag and that he wanted to make some changes. But Ten Hag expecting him to change his play style at his age was unrealistic. He already changed his style once. He’s not gonna change it at 37. It’s always worked for him and his teams. He’s also not capable of playing Ten hag style at that age. I’m pretty sure no one isHe was signed by Ole. Not Ten Hag.
Also there's the big changes at executive level after Ole was fired. Those same execs were responsible for the dire performance of the club on the pitch for the last decade since Sir Alex left. When Ole went there was a major reshuffling throughout the club and the exec level.
So really Ronaldo was signed by different manager under a different regime.
You can't blame any of what happened with Ronaldo on Ten Hag and his backroom staff. Nor can you blame the facilities at the club. Ronaldo knew what the facilities were like when he joined. Again he never complained when he was playing for Ole because Ole was stroking his ego.
Ole made him the main man and focal point of the attack. It was basically everything goes through Ronaldo.
The team was moulded around Ronaldo. Give the ball to Ronny was Ole's plan.
You also have to understand Ronaldo has a very unhealthy appetite for chasing records to the detriment of the team. You can see that type of behavior in him trying to claim Bruno's goal at the WC.
The man is all about personal records at any cost. I'm pretty sure he had the same idea when he joined for Man United under Ole.
The club has issues internally but only the lack of proper investment in the facilities.
I'm just waiting for anyone to claim the club didn't investment in the playing squad because then they'd really be talking a whole heap of shit and I hope you're not going to go there lol.
EDIT: Rangnick was suprlus to requirements as Ten Hag didn't see a need for him to hang around. That's what I understood was the story. I might be wrong but Rangnick was supposed to remain at the club in a consultancy role.
Bruno can’t play with Ronaldo because his style of play relies on this Hail Mary long balls that strikers with speed can catch up to. He also tends to drift very far forward sometimes playing as a striker. If Utd adopt a style of play that requires breaking down defences, Bruno won’t fit the team.Bruno is a great example because you can see the difference in his form when Ronaldo is and isn't in the team. In the big picture he, like the team in general, is better without Ronaldo playing. Bruno's form, in general, was off last season but there's also an issue of them just not meshing well together stylistically. Ronaldo's lack of positional discipline means he drops deep a lot so ends up occupying spaces Bruno looks to operate in and that then also doesn't give Bruno that presence higher up for him to pass to.
People talk about a striker who presses but they don’t understand that you press as a team. Ronaldo not pressing isn’t the problem - it’s the team that doesn’t press.No.
Rangnick could never get Ronaldo to play the way he wanted to which is a high pressing system similar to Klopp at Liverpool.
I’d like to see Netherlands win today but i don’t think that’ll happen. Argentina are the better team IMoMessi is going home today
Lets hope it'll be a good match if anything!I’d like to see Netherlands win today but i don’t think that’ll happen. Argentina are the better team IMo
Same hopes from me. Though only Portugal proceeds is my pessimistic take.My hopes:
Croatia beat Brasil
Argentina beat netherlands
England beats france
Portugal beats Morocco.
And I hope that Messi wins it, but sadly their team is pretty bad. Especially that striker that missed pretty much everything.
England 3 - 2 France
England beats france

I sort of got that reference.Ronaldo should go to Accrington Stanley
I sort of got that reference.
Like I remember there was a commercial with a kid saying 'Accrington Stanley' in a shocked/sarcastic tone (I can hear it in my head now) but don't remember anything else about it.
It's from a milk advertI sort of got that reference.

How is Argentina bad? They’re stacked and lost 1 game after being undefeated for 36 games. I’m going for the Dutch but this take is 100% just wrongMy hopes:

I was looking at you’re original post over and over and wondering wtf you were talking about. I thought you were talking about Phil Foden or something lolwrong thread.
Come one, their play is pretty bad. Every game is all Messi. If he wasn't in there they would lose 80% of their games. Their attackers are very trashy. How is Argentina bad? They’re stacked and lost 1 game after being undefeated for 36 games. I’m going for the Dutch but this take is 100% just wrong
Not true at all. They’re not playing at their best but you can’t judge from a couple games what they’re capable of. You need to look at the bigger picture.Come one, their play is pretty bad. Their last game UK commentary mentioned him literally every 5 mins. Even if he was stood offside scratching his arse it was all about him. Got very boring.Come one, their play is pretty bad. Of course I'm judging them by how they have played this tourney... none of their games stood out for me as very good football. Not true at all. They’re not playing at their best but you can’t judge from a couple games what they’re capable of. You need to look at the bigger picture.
Same people saying Ronaldo makes Portugal worse because of one game. Not knowing that Portugal just beat the Swiss 4-0 a few months back with a Ronaldo brace. And before that Ronaldo got a hat trick to beat them 3-1. They’re latest game without Ronaldo they lost 1-0 in June.
Bigger picture
The same idiots claiming Messi was washed last year and made psg worse
brasil is to convinced they will win this and thats gonna be their downfallHexa haircut I think
