any advice? my mouse only has 3 buttons
A bit late but I'll list my current bindings for my destro lock.
I use ESDF for movement in order to use Q, W, A, R, T, G for binds and have easy access to 1-6.
Currently I have three bound bars. They're bound depending on how often I use those skills and how easy the keys are to reach.
1 - Fel Flame
2 - Corruption
3 - Bane of Doom
4 - Demonic Circle: Teleport
5 - Rain of Fire
6 - Nether Ward
Q - Immolate
W - Incinerate
A - Conflagrate
R - Fear
T - Shadowflame
G - Soulburn
Shift + 1 - Utility Slot for Quest items and such
Shift + 2 - Shadowburn
Shift + 3 - Bane of Havoc
Shift + 4 - Summon Demonic Circle
Shift + 5 - Curse of the Elements
Shift + 6 - Demon Soul
Shift + Q - Shadowbolt
Shift + W - Chaos Bolt
Shift + A - Soulfire
Shift + R - Death Coil
Shift + T - Shadowfury
Shift + G - Life Tap
Alt + 1 - Imp
Alt + 2 - Voidwalker
Alt + 3 - Succubus
Alt + 4 - Felhunter
Alt + 5 - Infernal
Alt + 6 -
Alt + Q - Flying Mount
Alt + W - Ground Mount
Alt + A - Trinket
Alt + R - Lifeblood
Alt + T - Rocket Jump
Alt + G - Belt Rocket
Over time (I've used this setup for years) I've developed patterns. For example, slots 1-6 are usually for things that I cast a lot, but I don't have to press repeatedly, and are usually instant. My most important spells go into QWARTG, with Q being what 1 is for most other players. W and A are usually damage spells. R and T are for interrupts, controls, slows and other stuff. And G is typically for anything else left over. This works for most classes but Warlocks have waaaaaaaaaaaaaay too many spells. Haven't even bound Drain Life, Drain Soul or Drain Mana, since I don't use them at all. I click my other curses (although CoEx is bound on my afflic spec), as well as Banish.
I recommend the use of Shit + and Alt + binds for your other major spells. A side note, Alt + Q/W/A/1/2/3 are easy to do while Alt + R/T/G/4/5/6 hurt your hand after a while. Shift + Q/W/A/R/T/G are a bit tougher on the hands than Alt + Q/W/A/1/2/3, and Shift + 1/2/3/4/5/6 are only a tad easier than Alt + R/T/G/4/5/6.
