Just about downing the third door!
It'd be nice to kill Horridon before 5.3...
I need to have a word with some of my guild, though. Some are underperforming, which is fine, and they claim to just not know why, which is fine, but I have a problem with the fact that they're not then converting that into
going out and finding a willing expert to help them out. There's a ton of resources out there, and lots of people willing to help as long as you approach it the right way.
What's the best way to lvl to 90 as a healer? Dungeon finder or questing?
I'm quite happy to quest in tank spec, but I'm weird. Probably Dungeon Finder for you.
How are healing sham/pally seen in the pvp meta game right now?
Can't speak for PvP
What about pve and looking for raid?
I don't think there's any healer that is generally believed to be a bit underpowered; different healers bring different advantages to different fights. As long as you're competent, you'll be fine.
Have either classe changes since last xpac?
Well, there's been the broad changes to every class (new talent system, stats changes, that sort of thing). I can't really speak for specific changes to specific classes... despite playing a pally, I'm a tank through-and-through.
And is the new pet system really like Pokemon?
Kind of. It's not quite as deep as Pokemon, but it's much deeper than I expected it to be at the outset.
You'll start with L1 pets (whichever you currently have at the start, minus a few that can't logically fight, no matter how much you feel you should be able to Alliance Balloon an enemy to death).
There's a long quest chain that starts at the trainer which loosely guides you through a progression sequence (no storyline aspect to it - at least as far as I've got - but a sequence of being led to zones to encounter
gym leaders pet trainers). In the interim each zone has a 'pet level' as well as the 'player level', detailing what wild pets you'll encounter there for levelling and capture purposes.
Battles involve one pet at a time from a pool of three that can be swapped in and out at will. Each pet has three ability slots which can be toggled (before battle) between one of two abilities each (so six abilities total), and there's a good range of abilities out there; each of the six unlocks as you proceed through levelling the pet. There's pet and ability classes, again like Pokemon, where a given abilities' class is strong against a given pet's class; pet classes also give special unique passive traits.
What else is there? Oh, there's pet rarity levels; pets can be grey, white, green or blue, and rarer pets have higher base stats - but are understandably less common. There's a small chance of getting Battle Stones from a successful fight which can be used to upgrade a pet instantly to rare of the given class (or, if you have a flawless one, *any* class). And I've not got to the endgame, but I'm aware that legendary pets actually exist; a three-on-one fight against a ridiculously tough enemy. Not sure if they're capturable, though.
Blizzard have been doing a good job of adding to pet battle content as the patches have come through; they're showing real commitment to the feature, which is nice. I'd like to see a pet quest chain that isn't simply 'go beat the elite trainers', though. Where is WoW's Team Rocket, and
how the hell would they actually justify its inclusion?
