Melee is probably much easier than ranged.
Pfft it was kinda hard with worse gear... had to deal with the maze a lot longer
. Took me a lot of attempts in 5.2.If anyone needs practice on Hexos, buy Super Hexagon! Game is so good and so evil. I've played it like 20 minutes total but it feels like an eternity.
Gah I really want to resub this weekend, but I don't even have my good PC handy. Bought a laptop last weekend (Surface Pro 2) and tried it with Diablo 3 and I just could not stand it after a while.... The keyboard was too small for my hands (and I have pretty small hands) and the screen was too small, and overall it was a bit choppy for some reason. Even though my mouse sensitivity was mapped proper in the menus, as soon as I went into a game it was really choppy. Perhaps the thing just couldn't really handle the settings I was using. It was cool to use as a tablet, but that was about it... and I could just buy a tablet if that's what I was going for. Either way, decided it was not the device for me and returned it before even bothering to try WoW on it. Fortunately didn't get charged a restocking fee.
Probably will just upgrade my PC next year or so. I pretty much just play Blizzard games and indie games on Steam so I don't really need a new PC yet. Plus the fact that they are making raids less of a spell frenzy by hiding some spell audio/visuals from other players.
I'm starting to think this belt doesn't exist. 5 kills and not a single drop.

i have literally never done the tillers lol... outside of the initial quest i think.
i always just bought my shit, even when the expac was brand new.
just couldn't get into it.
in digging garrisons so far though, so we will see.
i like the atmosphere of the garrisons at least, as well as the multiple profession bonuses.

Only reason why I'm pursuing it is because it's like ~200g-400g passive income per farm each day. If I have it up on 2-3 other characters that's an extra 1000g+ each day with minimal effort.
Also I'm running out of meaningful things to do that aren't horrendously grindy, and I try to only work on one of those at a time (currently Molten Front).

Timless isle, LFR. Heroic dungeon gear is obsolete for...months now.
Justice rep gear to fill out the missing timeless slots
Siege LFR is absolutely more difficult in my experience. I mean if you know the mechanics they're fine, but on the whole people mess up a lot more in Siege than previous LFR raids.
Hasn't been too bad, though. I'll sometimes have a wipe or two on like Malk or Garrosh, but most people seem to know what they're doing now that SoO has been out for a while.
What Laughtrey said. Don't need to bother with heroics. I may be remembering wrong, but I'm pretty sure I was able to do LFR as soon as I boosted my shaman. LFR / Timeless Isle will take you all the way up to 536 gear when upgraded. Can get into flex after that.
Ah ok, I'll still probably run them at least once to experience the dungeons since I never did them when MoP came out on my monk. Haven't played since then

Even grinding out the rep is a waste of time. The only thing worth pursuing are the 522 necks at Shadow Pan Assault Neutral.

Just reached 88 with the shaman, it drains mana like a motherf....but still I am feeling burned out. Two more levels and the dungeons are not helping....
farm the worms on timeless isle. went from 88-90 in a few hours while leveling my ele sham.

In a good mood. Downed both H: Sha of Pride and H: Iron Juggernaut progression tonight! Got a tier chest of Sha, which is my BiS.
Coined a Greatsword off Sha too, but I'm dual wield, so not much use at the moment.
So now we're 6/14 H.

so now that I'm raider rank, I'm eligible for hwf loot just as our other raiders would be.
i have around 11 dark shamans kills.
from these 11 kills has come 2 coined heroic war forged neck pieces and a ton of gold from coins.
i raid 25m.
the boss hasn't dropped the crit boots ONCE.
myself and the other fire mage in the guild have been clamoring for them, him especially since he passed on them the last time he saw them... about 19-plus kills ago lol.
these things don't exist.
also i realized i have the korkron jugg mount but i don't have the normal mode wolf mount, so now i gave to clear the instance on normal with my guilds alt group on my priest to get it =/

I guess it is asking for a lot, but I kind of wish towards the end of SoO, they'd either increase the drop rate on items or give you more bonus roll seals per week.
I'm pretty much guaranteed every trinket, protector token, etc because the only other agi is geared out. And yet, nothing drops, consistently. Unrelated: Can't wait to finish this Kalu'ak rep.

I was looking for those worms with my 86 DK but I only found giant snakes and some bugs, where i can find them
heres my crude illustration. the numbers represent the number of groups of worms. so the 3 means there are 3 packs of worms there. they spawn on the ground in the middle of some small trees. the number 1 worms spawn by the corner of the house.

i was debating on going arcane for a while.... then we got hit with the ptr build that allows us to upgrade each item 2 more times..
since i haven't been back long, i JUST got done upgrading my other stuff and was debating on upgrading my arcane set... the other fire mage in my guild was also upgrading his arcane set.
good thing they announced this shit mid raid, so we could save w.e we had left for the week lol. i didn't end up upgrading a single piece, but he had been upgrading as of last week, so thats 1k wasted valor =/
this change means that i am now locked into my primary spec... and since my arcane needs a good 7 items to fully upgrade... I'm pretty much locked into fire for months.
which i don't mind since it scales well (not as well as arcane, but I'm fine with it).
many of the other fire mages in the world are locked in as well.. however not as locked as i am, since most of them have fully upgraded arcane sets and haven't been back for 2 months lol.
eh I'm fine with it, but it would have been cool to at least try arcane before the 6.0 patch lol now if its strong ill be even more rusty at the spec, but at least i set up my UI for it, which helps a ton.

so as more war forged items come, those will need to be upgraded 4 times lol, then the replacement items to my ALREADY upgraded 4 times items, will need to be upgraded 4 times lol.....
not to mention if i ever get those boots... thats 4 upgrades right there and thats just upgrading my heroic protectors boots... then the HWF shamans boots might come along AFTER THAT.
making that 2 more upgrades for my protectors boots (non bis), assuming the shamans boots don't drop this week or the next and i don't get them if they do (which i should since i don't even have HWF boots and the other mages do, assuming the patch is out within the next 2 weeks), then 4 more if i get the boots, then 4 more if i get the HWF boots after that.

my class has had a history of having to play a specific spec for a tier then swap the next, and sometimes the swapped spec hadn't been played in 2 tiers, or was just completely different, so everyone was rusty.
best example would be t14 arcane after the combustion nerf.
and since we are getting changes in WOD (not too many in terms of our core gameplay tbh), i feel many will be rusty anyway, especially the other fire mages who have played the spec this tier and nothing else.
no shame.

Yo I'm doing this farm shit on like 4 characters simultaneously. Why am I forcing myself to do this? Not quite sure, but hopefully it pays off.
On the plus side, it shouldn't take more than a week to hit exalted with all of them. Commendation too strong.

Found the worms but daaaaaamn to many guys killing me for my low level rather than fighting the other alliance 90 guys
It's weird seeing people without heirlooms while I'm leveling my rogue. Not only seeing people without them but seeing many people without them. I guess there are still people that don't do end-game content in WoW.

Enhancement shamans have like 3 full bars of abilities. You are definitely doing it wrong.

Had some good progress on H: Dark Shamans and H: Nazgrim. Didn't get them down, but we should nail them next lockout. Just need a bit more practice. Still, 2 new bosses this week is pretty good regardless. 3 or 4 would have been incredible.

At 90? My bars are literally overflowing with abilities and totems.
A few I barely use, but there's a shit ton of stuff I need on there. Definitely more than my hunter.

Also..I can't seem to find how much damage I will do.
I repeat my recommendation of before to Blizzard. Let me queue for a LFR on one character while playing another. When the queue pops just switch me over to said character when I join. I'm doing some ToT LFRs for my Shaman to get bis for CM carries, and I have virtually nothing to do on this character while I wait up to an hour.

This is sorta what I'm beginning to wonder.
I'm all for a squish in numbers, but I'm just interested to see how it'll work out across the board.
So far, it seems like it'd make your Primary stats way more valuable than before.
(i.e. Making Strength, Intelligence, and Agility points that much stronger?)

Is "Do a Barrel Roll" soloable? It's the last achievement I need for the firelands mount. My DK needs it, my warrior, my hunter and my Paladin. So I can do it on any of them, it's the only thing missing. Suggestions?
