I'm wondering if there's a notable contingent for whom LFR is regarded as a comfort zone, if you like; people don't venture out of it because they genuinely do not believe that they're able to, when they'd actually be absolutely fine in Flex, and with the increased raid-finding capabilities in WoD, getting hold of a Flex raid should be within their capabilities.
That is, I do wonder if the problem is actually partially psychological; lack of belief in being able to make the step forwards even though they're able but don't realise it. I may have said this a few pages back, too!
For me, and the folks that I'm talking to, it's a time issue. It's not a psychological issue. I've been in big raiding guilds, raided content when it was current, done progression etc. I have a wife and a kid, so I can't commit to raiding three days a week. I'm really hoping the new raid finder for flex at least works similar to LFR so I can make some sort of progression and can do it on my own time since my play time is erratic.
Isn't versatility kind of a just a weaker version of amplify? Weird.
Yeah, kinda. It's amplify that doesn't depend on your other secondaries, it scales on its own.
Boring stat, but I really just disliked Readiness.
Kinda happy to see Hit go.
Warlords of Draenor pre-pratchSo they're going to retire the Guardian Cub... which is interesting given it was a one-off of a pet you could buy and potentially sell. Wonder if they'll try that again.
On a completely other topic... any rumours going around regarding the 10th anniversary? I'm really curious if they'll have anything special for those who have been around the whole time.

Versatility is really bad because it will benefit some classes more than others and should really just be removed.

The "friends and family" alpha was already going, one thing they specifically mentioned wanting to have done before expanding it was integrating garrisons into the leveling experience so presumably they have gotten that working. And right now they are only testing the horde starting area.Do they ever invite people to Alpha other than friends and family?
And gosh, just the Alpha is starting? Man, this isn't going to come out until Christmas is it?
and as usual I don't get shit
That highlight thing is atrocious.
After playing a lot of WildStar it doesn't bother me.That highlight thing is atrocious.
Did all my challenge mode golds tonight with guild!
I've done all but three of them in a couple of days, found them way easier than I thought they would be. Brewery was the only one we had to repeat, all other were done in the first try. I'm only missing Jade Serpent, one wing of Scarlet Monastery and Shado-pan.
I finally have Invincible.
Well, not really. Alpha premades have all the mounts. Feels so great.
Makes my main feel like a noob ;_;
You can disable it from the options menu (as well as choose from several different options, if no one has done so, I'll post them tomorrow)
(edit) Annnnd world server is down. Guess this is as good as time as any to really go to bed then and pray for stabler servers in the morning.
I think colored outlines like that can be really distracting and don't really add anything to a game like WoW.

I'd like to share screens too but they don't show up in the screens folder if I use prt screen
Man, I thought this alpha was 'further along than previous alphas'... and at this point it's being slowly accessible to the general public I am getting more and more concerned with the timelines till WoD releases...
