Sunwell Launch -> Wrath retail was longer, I think.

Speaking of Pandaria rares, I got that cool BoA staff with the model that's otherwise unique to monks the other day - the one you pick up in that glade of the hidden master in the Valley of the Four Winds.
Also got this Lilypad that gives you the Symbiosis ability for your class in Pandaria. Which would be cool, except the DPS DK one is shit: Wild Mushroom: Plague. Just not very useful at all, especially just out in the world - it's an AoE DPS CD.
Warlocks got a rejuvination on a 10s cooldown. Sooo helpful.
Are Orcs going to randomly start showing up a few months before WoD is out?
Hunters get Dash. Gee thanks! I'd rather have a HoT.
Blizzard has said the pre-expansion event will be going to Draenor to close the Dark Portal preventing an orc invansion into Azeroth.Well the Mists pre-patch event was just the Theramore's Fall scenario at 85, rather than a world event, but the Cata pre-patch was pretty cool with the Twilight Cultist stuff. There will probably be something - hopefully more than just another scenario again since Blizz seems to love those now.

On the Horde I get to punt kick goblins and beat up drunks Orcs to go to Twilight Highlands. On the dwarf, I'm escorting a little nancy boy prince.
Why can't I be doing dwarf things
Pfft, dwarves are nothing but angry beer-soaked beards on legs.
Wow, Blizzard just hardcore broke. The servers exploded and even the site's not working
That looks like it would be a pain in the ass to camp.
... I'm gonna do it.
Almost that, yeah. SoO is basically it for Pandaria I think. So are we looking at another long stretch of no new content until the expansion?
How long was the Cataclysm drought, anyway? Like 9 months?

Honestly, I can see letting my sub lapse in a month or two. Not much left for me to do.
Will resub the second WoD is out, though. Hopefully it's out by early summer.
OH MY GOD YES. FINALLY FOUND IT after looking for about a week.
Ancient Pandaren Mining Pick
So good.
The proc rate is terrible by the way...
Can't decide on next 'project.' Goblin Rogue or Goblin Enhancement Shaman
Do you have Brawler's Razor Claws? If so, do Enhancement. They are so goddamned good. Put Elemental Force on those fuckers and Windfury the shit out of things.
I got my Vial of the Sands recipe in 8 Tol'vir solves, and in my first Canopic Urn, on a toon who hadn't even trained Archaeology until yesterday. I had friends who farmed the shit out of that thing for weeks and didn't get it back in Cataclysm. Spent the rest of the evening working on the mats, and now my druid has a dragon form.
I think rares in Pandaria are mostly poorly designed. Like the way that they just randomly do abilities that kill you despite all their moves not doing much then suddenly instant death. It's just really out of place and feels incredibly cheap.
Destro Locks have insane DPS because they're one of the best if not the best scaling class/spec for mass AoE. The more mobs the better. You can drop multiple Rain of Fires (no channel time), which with more mobs will proc more embers, meaning you won't run out while you're casting all your other spells that cleave onto everything for 35% normal damage. That includes mass AoE Immolates, which increases Rain of Fire damage.
In situations where there's something like 3 or 4 mobs, they're not nearly as good.
Destro locks are just good all around. Though we do scale hilariously with large aoe packs. I hit 1.5 million dps aoeing at one point.
Had a friend hit 4 million dps on the two big trash packs before Iron Qon in LFR.
They're better than the maces?
The maces are slower (which means higher weapon damage), but the claws have Hit on them which is more useful for running in dungeons.
That literally means you are fighting them wrong. All of their abilities are avoidable.
Fuck I forgot how awful people were in ToT LFR.
I've been trying to gear up my paladin since my raid group is having a month long break, but it's going slowly. All the good and capable players are done with their legendary quests and gearing up in LFR. I don't have the patience for it usually, it's just such a pain in the ass. I can no rarely be bothered to take control and tell people the tactics either. I remember shaking my head at someone in this thread that felt LFR needed to be nerfed. There was no need to back then, but it is sorely needed now imo.
Well luckily you can skip ToT completely and just go straight to SoO LFR. There's something about ToT that makes people just go coo-coo.

ToT is easier than SoO though. I consider ToT LFR to be much less of a pain in the ass to do.
