Also, could someone link me (or tell me straight up) how I'm supposed to use the new "Genesis"-spell? Like, it consumes my rejuvenation... and heals the same amount, just quicker? I'm so confused :_:

Speeds up the healing tick of your rejuv at the cost of its duration
Ok, so I should only use this during heat moments like massive AoE-damage?

Like, I plan ahead. The AoE comes in 5 seconds, I put rejuv up on everyone. As soon as the AoE-damage starts happening, I use Genesis and it should heal the exact same amount but in shorter time?

Coming back to the game after 2 years (left after finish 5.0 raids)...
What do I have to know?

Logged on yesterday and saw the prequest thing, did that, felt different. Item Squash, Ability pruning (all good things!)

The story also confuses the fuck of me.

So at the end of orig raid, Garrosh went back in time to an ALTERNATE draenor and stopped horde becoming fel? and opened ANOTHER dark portal across time and space into TODAY's world to take revenge? Am I getting this shit right?

Actually Wrathion and Kairozdormu (a bronze dragon from the last patch) did this, using a bronze drgaonflight artifact and enslaving Garrosh to gain the trust of the old horde and stop them from drinking the demon's blood.
Wrathion wants to strengthen Azeroth because he had a vision of the demons bringing the apocalypse, but whether he lost faith in the Alliance/Horde or just want to prepare them is unclear.
Kairoz rather wanted to use multiple versions of old horde to become the next power mongrel, but Garrosh decided otherwise and killed him to take matters as he saw fit and reunite with daddy andcorrect the mistake that tainted the Orcs honor and stuff.

He then taught them how to use technology to be stronger instead of the demon blood, and used what remained of the artifact to connect Draenor to our Azeroth hoping to do what the original Horde couldn't do and conquer it.

Yep, rejuv them up and when an aoe blows on the entire raid you can activate Genesis

I jusyjust cane back, too. What boa Weapon?

Ok so when you buy WoD you get a free boost to 90.....if you do it, port to your major city and go inside the instance there (RFC for horde, Stockades for alliance) as it instantly unlocks everything and then hearth back to the starting point of the boost.

Secondly, if you do Seige of Orgrimmar and kill Garrosh before the xpac goes live you get a 100% chance (for your selected lootspec (right click your character and select loot specialisation)) to get a bind on account weapon that's valid from 90-100 and will serve you until the first tier of raids.

Quick question from someone who hasn't played in forever...

Do you need to pre-order to get the free lv 90 boost? Or if i buy the game in a day or two will it still give me it?

I will probably have the OT for Gaming up around three hours before EU launch.

Aaaaaaah, I don't get the point of lifebloom anymore :(

What's a good site for knowledge-bombs nowadays?

Is it worth precompleting 24 quests in Pandaria before I go to Warlords or is the XP inconsequential?

I wasn't going to, but I'm bored as fuck sitting on 10 toons waiting to level. I did 24 on my main and I'll turn those in. Someone else here said that's good for most of a level.

Did some bag cleaning before work this morning. Vendored off-spec stuff, put some stuff in void storage, etc.

I think I might wake up a bit earlier for work this morning to get some more playing time in!

whoever came up with this story... (i know who)

Anyways, getting used to my shaman again...

I need to re customize the UI a bit, the normal UI just doesn't cut it. Any suggestion?

Looking for stuff like
health bar change (on top of mobs)
tool bar change
cast bar change
unit frame change

I wonder if power aura still exist, a lot of the stuff show up automatically now in blizzard UI, but some timer that shows things like flame shock duration on current targeted mob is still good.

I'm returning after a couple year hiatus with a small group of friends that have been playing WoW on and off since beta. The played time on my main reads 171 hours and I feel like a complete noobie. Having been back only a couple days I think I will be skipping the BoA weapon, it's not flex raidable? But have ran around Timeless for a bit. Looking forward to WoW once again!

The hype is getting a bit much, getting through work will be difficult. I don't even know what role I want to play this expansion, damn Druids.

I loved Cata healing so maybe I should just heal, I love tanking too though :(

I'm a recently returned player too and this is what I'm using.

Dominos is the action bar mod, which includes a cast bar options, ShadowedUF is the unit frames mod.

I don't have health bars on for the most part.

I think both Power Auras and OmniCC are being updated.

Not to sound cynical, but why is everyone assuming they will be playing exactly at launch time? I've been around for most of the launches (except MoP) and only a few lucky people could play within the first 6-12 hours of launch.

I hope for the best. Just going by past experiences I knew not to take any days off from work.

Same as it was before. You lose the three stack. No more wasting gcds. Also rejuv spam is 90 only. You basically have a level 100s mana regen.

Gotcha! Thanks!

hey! a chair it's not supposed to fight.

As long as you stay logged in you should be able to start playing immediately

Man... insanely jealous of the people who get to play soon but I already have enough work to do and I'm glued to the Rosetta stuff this morning. :/ I should count my blessings I can't login and have access to Draenor.

I only use like three-four add ons on my melee character. Weak Auras, EvlUI, DBM and Recount. I think Grid is still around and great for healers. Not sure what else you need that would be necessary beyond those few though for pve.

I have a presentation to give the morning of Draenor launch :(. All I'll be thinking about during it playing some WoD when I get home. I expect stormrage to be exploding though so I'll probably have plenty of downtime.

Edit: Sorry, I just saw the res scroll isn't available anymore... Bummer :(

edit : too late, you saw it.

Since we're waiting, EU friends, let's share our Bnet IDs, everyone isn't on the spreadsheet.

Mokhnaar#2902, horde (plan on boosting a 90 alliance)

Been very hesitant to try this expansion.
I liked Vanilla and BC a lot more than the rest, how does this one look to old time WoW players from this thread ?

Are you looking forward to it ?

Neg. I've had rather flawless expansion launch experiences all the way back to BC, as have most players I know.

It's the patches that seem to wreck shit more often.

I've actually always been stunned at how smooth launch days have been. Smooth sailing for BC, Wrath, Cata and MoP. I mean, crowded zones and all, some frustrating quest experiences as a result, the odd crash or bug, but that sometimes happens during the year too.

I dunno. It's usually been pretty amazing.

MoP was pretty smooth. Some lag spikes and crowded quest objectives to be sure, but even on a big server I didn't have any issues jumping in at midnight and playing for hours. The new stuff just unlocked and off everyone went.

Free Level 90s was the perfect time to get that GAF guild going for shame
