After clearing with that first character do I need to log out inside the instance before I log on to the boss-killing character to accept the invite? Or does it not matter where I log out?

Also, do I need to go all the way back to the instance when I want to invite a second boss-killing character?

No, I share a lockout on my 10 alts and the one who created the group (my druid) logs out in their Garrison as it's an instant logout, no 20 seconds of waiting.

Druid then creates group, accepts invite from alt, my alt kills the Lich King and leaves group, I log into Druid and relist group, log into 2nd alt and join etc. etc. so on and so forth.

Also, my druid extends the lock-out each week, so they don't have to keep killing upto the Lich King on 25n, which helps.

Hmm, I'm not getting a lockout prompt on my second boss kill character =\

First kill worked well, second one isn't giving me the prompt to accept the lockout.

I had some weird issues with my lockouts today as well, but eventually I did get it to work. They might be tweaking something behind the scenes.

I didn't know anything about Harrison Jones levelling followers so just looked it up. So if I understand correctly - I could put a level 90 follower on a mission with Jones, with a 15k xp bonus, and the level 90 would get the full 15k xp and not a reduced amount?

Correct. Harrisons unique bonus makes every other follower on the mission at least his (i)level.

Awesome, thanks. Out the loop a bit as I only started playing again a couple of weeks ago after a 12 month break.

I think I've only done one of the Harrison Jones dailys - I'll have to keep my eye out.

Did you reform the group after the kill? I always disband the group and restart the process when passing to another character.

Visit another players garrison if you don't have him yourself, he changes mission every day and is on a 6 day cycle.

I reformed the group several times, passed leader, changed difficulty, basically everything I could think of. Finally one stuck, though I can't remember what it was, sorry. The save I had problems with was ICC.

For HFC it's 8, I think, to get the chest of that difficulty.

Don't remember the older ones exactly but it was something like 1.5 or 2.5 x the number of bosses in the instance killed to get the chest of the next difficulty up.

You can check the auto-accept box when you make the group on the character that has the lockout to save some time, the lead usually passes to the character you are doing the run on by the time you get it to the instance.

I booted the character that has the lockout once my boss killing character had leader and delisted the group, so I should have been good.

Decided to go Prot on my Paladin for the first time ever, and I don't even have enough burst to solo 25H Ultraxion. What. The. Fuck. There goes like 2k gold per week.

Hmmm... I've killed 15+ on normal on my alt but I'm still getting the LFR chest on her. Same with my main and heroic difficulty. Guess I just need to be more patient. :)

I was thinking the same thing. I've been wanting to make a fire mage but haven't been able to decide on what race to go with. I was leaning towards Blood Elf since the artifact weapon goes with them but now I think I want it to be a goblin.

In HFC? Then dunno. I'm pretty sure I started getting mythic caches around 8 kills on my main, and my fresh 100 rogue a few months ago is getting heroic caches after only ever getting carried through one heroic full clear by an alt raid, so 13 kills there.

Anyone have any specific Warlock or Mage sets and weapons that they really like? I've been trying to find some other goals to set outside of simply leveling a few toons in a few specific classes to 100, and have been skimming through transmog guides to find some goals to sort of set. So far the only Lock and Mage sets that are super appealing are the gold challenge sets.

That gives me hope, then! I'm doing heroic HFC tonight, so hopefully I'll get a heroic cache next week.

I ended up getting a heroic Hellrender, not what I wanted but better than my 700 PvP one. Also snagged my first tier piece. I bonus rolled two items on bosses where I needed 2 out of the 3 possible items and I got the one I didn't need both times which sucked.

Got lockout sharing now. I didn't reset instances on the lockout holder yesterday, and did it before I tried today, so maybe that was the problem.

I've bitched about it before in this thread, but I really wish they would have implemented some sort of mechanic that made tomes drop more frequent based on how many times you've completed the damn ring. I thought my last one (#5) was bad, but fuck, working on #6 now and this is by far the absolute worst RNG I've seen. Just stupid to get 4 tomes out of 13 kills.

I don't raid with a guild, so I will never be switching roles in any raid. I chose prot over ret because I find tanking more fun than DPS. Although it seems the tradeoffs are pretty shit.

It's weird. Kunark launched on the Box EQ server I'm playing on. And I'm leveling an Iksar Warrior.

Right now I'm in a group with 4 random dudes in the court of bones area and one of the monks just runs out, grabs the mob, and we beat the shit out of him. But I'm having fun with it. But when I go to do Group Tanaan dailies it's just like 'fuck this i hope everyone is doing their part' despite it being much more fast paced. Like zero communication and all that.

Yup, we definitely need another stat squish.

I always preferred the BC levels where people had about 30k health.
