World of Warcraft |OT9| People still play this? Isn't it from 2004

I made a DH on horde side and had to switch back to alliance after I started the quests in Stormheim.

It was super fun going through that with my paladin, shaman, and druid. Sweet, let's spread plague and blight, then gas all these people with toxic crap that should have killed us too. Because we horde are evil. Evil.

Came back for patch. Been gone for a while. Stopped a month or two after Legion launch because i got caught up irl stuff. Game still feels great. Love the new zones and the focus on non-Horde/Orc shit. Got geared up fast. Flight done after a week maybe. Doing invasions now on my alts to level them. Almost a level each character every invasion.

edit:
i know there are new caster animations but are there new class specific destroy animations? Like when you click on a thing in a quest to destroy. Each class is doing something different and i dont remember it being like that before.

Not only that. If you click on something, your character will turn her neck to face it.

I'm kind of hoping the next expansion will give us more of a breather from all the world-ending shit instead of jumping straight into the void/old god threat. I just get fatigued from the constant barrage of high-stakes storytelling, and I can tell when they're trying to do "epic" moments but I just feel completely numb to it at this point.

The thing I liked the most about patch 7.3 was probably The Death Of Chromie.

Went to Booty Bay and saw lots of people but none of the pirates. There was two people killing the goblins and even the bankers, was wondering if they might have killed them. Are the pirates killable. Was people dancing on the roof but that was it.

They are definitely setting up the Void as the new baddie, but they surprised us with Mists, and I would even say warlords.

Yeah, same. Traveling to another planet and all this crazy shit is cool but let's take it down a few notches next go-round.

At the point we're at, you'd think the next expansion would be the final one where we kill Sargeras and everybody live an happy life ever after(or the Alliance vs Horde fight continue).

I'm surprised that 10+ years later, we still have not fight Azshara. Surely that expansion will come sooner or later. Or they're trying to avoid it because everybody knows that mean one or more underwater zones and the spectre of Vashjir still linger in most people minds.

It might be okay having that 3D space as a ranged class, but it felt crap as melee.

Plus the whole zone should've just had one quest when you entered, "Kill 2000 Naga", because that's what it felt like you did.

I can't be the only one who loves Vashj'ir but I don't think I've ever actually seen someone say they do too.
I love Vashj'ir too, and I've played through it as melee and ranged. Think it got too much hate in general for Blizzard to ever do anything like it again. Shame.

There's an area in Suramar that definitely tries to go for something similar. There will definitely be more underwater content, but it will probably happen when Blizzard's hand is forced by the lore.

I'm kind of hoping that the Void Lords/Old Gods are slowly built up through the next expansion instead of being the central focus. Rather than trying to up the ante with yet another universe ending threat have a return to the Horde/Alliance rivalry with Jaina and whatever is going on in Kul'Tiras after the Burning Legion has been dealt with. She's had a grudge since Theramore and it's only gotten worse with Varian's death. She basically turned her back on the Alliance for continuing to work with the Horde and for letting them back into Dalaran.

I highly doubt it, but I'd like to see a makeover of the vanilla areas, repairing damage from Cata, and concluding the alliance vs horde stuff going on in the areas that were changed. It would be nice to see the terrible Cata writing nuked from orbit and have everything up to modern standards. I get that humor has always been in the game, but the pop culture references went overboard, and their fucking scat quest fetish is tiresome.

It would also fit well with the above suggestions of an expansion that doesn't deal with another universe ending threat right away. Things could appear to be more positive on the surface, but they could have some mystery in the game again, and hint at the threat that is coming.

Bonus points if they actually do something about TBC zones, and how fast you blow by the 5 level expansion content. Oh, and fix how you hear about what happened in WotLK, as in it's over, but then later on you go there and do that content. Pardon?

Given Sylvanas was made warchief and what happened in Stormheim (I am never doing that zone on my horde druid and paladin), Jaina was right about the horde; they can never seem to get their shit together.

How are you gonna bash Sylvanas and praise a Dreadlord in the same sentence?

Earlier I joined a group to gain Bloodsail rep quickly for the new toy and title and am now hated by the Steamwheedle Cartel. Is there any disadvantage to staying hated? Can I miss out on anything? Trying to decide if I should bother fixing that rep or leave it as is.

It has been a full year and Na'zak has only spawned once. Why.

I think I killed him twice during all the Legion expansion, with one pop being a mistake.
I'm no longer subbed, but wasn't the rotation supposed to be fixed with 7.3? Maybe he'll pop once more before the year is out.

You can't use goblin towns anymore.

So winterspring, Gadgetzan, booty bay and i think area 52 the guards will attack on sight.

What happened in Stormheim happened in Tirisfal, Silverpine, Gilneas, Hilsbrad and the Western Plaguelands. It's just the Forsaken being the Forsaken. Spreading plagues, warping the land and wildlife, raising the dead or trying to.

If Stormheim makes you uncomfortable, you should try playing through the Worgen starting zone and then make a Forsaken toon to play through Silverpine to get the full picture of what the Forsaken do to Gilneas to seize control of the ruins of Lordaeron and the northern part of the Eastern Kingdoms.

The Horde aren't evil but the Forsaken sure are.

Oh I have, add Howling Fjord to that list too. They are completely irredeemable and it makes no sense for any non-Forsaken character to do any of their quest hubs and for racial leaders to be tolerating them since the Royal Apothecary Society started doing this out in the open in WotLK and it's frustrating that Blizzard keep doubling down on this narrative dissonance.

Only did a Mythic +2 on my SPriest so wasn't expecting much from the weekly chest.

Got a ring with a shitton of haste that titanforged to 930, and had avoidance. I'll take it.

I hated Vashir with a passion, I did like the look of it though.

Yeah, it looked great and the soundtrack was strangely both epic & calm at the same time.

But not many people like fighting underwater, even if you can breathe, swim faster or have a mount that moves super fast, and I doubt that'll ever change.

Coren is dropping 880 trinkets this year. Pretty bad.

But lowbies can queue, too, and get loot from him. Don't know what the min level is though.
