Really?!?! Well shit lol. I'll join the farm group on Friday if it isn't nerfed by then. I'll be able to stay up into the wee morning if need be.
No. This is a rumor started by group makers to encourage people to farm now as opposed to later. There is no truth to it.

Ok, so I just made a tank spec for my warrior, but now it's not letting me queue for dungeons because it says I don't have a valid role. I checked and tank is selected. What gives?

edit: never mind logging out fixed it.

Is it heroic? Did you do the scenario and get silver for the tank role? The one that you talk to the guy near your table in your garrison

MoP was a good expansion, much better than Cata. If they had given it to us without all the panda shit, it would have been great.

pandas are the second least objectionable race added to WoW only behind goblins IMHO.

and even above plenty of launch races like gnomes and nelfs.

Finished Shat as my daily, but not a single one of the rare elites I killed dropped the rare they were supposed to. This is the first time I've ever had a rare not drop what it was supposed to.

Looking forward to getting to the endgame as anybody but my Mage soon. I'd like to have some decent damage output and survivability rather than be mediocre in both.

Woohoo, just got the Mottled Meadowstomper from Luk'hok! I never got one of these rare spawn drop mounts before so quite happy!

Had quite a lot of hp (around 3 million), but was no problem for myself (Prot Warrior) and a Blood Death Knight to wittle down. Both of us got the mount oo.

Server stability is really still a problem tho.

I don't have much time to play the game atm, about 1/2 hours per day. Spending them doing two quests, assigning followers tasks and then getting dced and 30mins of "World Server Error" reeeeeeeeeeally pisses me off. Meh

Has anyone else run into the issue where the Frostwolves Guards's loincloths spaz out like crazy whenever you get near? I'm running a Nvidia 765M with the latest drivers and all that, and I have no further graphical issues at all aside from that.

Lots of people with this problem (my wife was having the same trouble). Turn off vsync is the only work around right now unless the new drivers Thoraxes is talking about fixes it.

Sorry to hear. I haven't gotten that since the first day, but i have been getting the no loading screen after I finish a dungeon and leave the group, half the time it won't take me out of the dungeon, I end up having to wait it out just to see " instance not found". Then it tries again to send me back and usually works. I don't know if it's an issue with queuing from my garrison or not.

Those Challenge Mode Gold reward weapons looks soooo good. Hope I can get them one day.

Does it unlock for your whole account or just the character that won the CM?

Any rogues out there? My fav class but people are saying theyre crap right now. Low damage and kinda useless in PvP :/ Just hit 100 and... well... yeah they dont seem that great. Doesnt help that Assassination now only needs to worry about keeping up Rupture and spam mutilate/envenom.

I've decided to main my rogue for now, at least until I've played some endgame and have maxed my professions. Mainly because it's the character I have the most attachment to. However, I'm only 93. Neither damage nor survivability is anything to write home about yet, but I'm a big fan of the combo point changes and Enhanced blade fury for combat rogues sounds pretty awesome for AoE.

Not sure what class I'll work on next. Probably my Mage.

seen people link this a few times, where does this fucker spawn and how to get it? -.-

edit, nvm googled it, oh wow need to roll for it, well gl with that on my server

People are doing spawn parties for the drop. The order in which you join the group is the order for who gets the drop. You'll probable be around 30th when joining, but the respawn rate is 7-15 minutes I believe. It can take awhile, but if you have the time just join the group and go do whatever you want until it's almost your turn.

Got my rogue to 98 and got a Draenor perk that made Slice and Dice an always-on passive. So, the Envenom refresh is now pointless, and it it even one less button I need to press. Steadily getting closer to just having one giant button to mash as a rogue. Eventually it will just say "damage."

Getting rid of SnD doesn't really matter since the point of envenom wasn't to refresh SnD at all, but to increase your poison procs for more damage. The goal of the spec since all the way back to wotlk was to try and achieve the highest uptime on envenom you can and that is still what you try to do. In fact it is even more important in WoD because of the envenom perk that makes mutilate/dispatch deal more damage in addition to increase poison procs during envenom.

Before the expansion hit I had decided to main my enhancement Shaman, which is now at level 95. A few pages back I read that Shamans are pretty terrible for dps in this expansion, regardless of spec. Considering I do feel a little competitive, I wouldn't be happy if my damage output is weak no matter what I do.
My second choice was leveling my 90 rogue, and now I'm reading on this page that they are bad as well. My goodness.

I was browsing every class forum on the main WoW forums, and EVERY class is QQing hard about their class being horrible.

Don't worry about it, play what you enjoy. Everyone is in shit gear right now, so everyone feels underpowered, and there's always a balancing patch not too far from launch.

For what its worth, Rogues always seem to be a little rough at the beginning of an expansion. They're incredibly gear dependent for every spec (even if assassination is more forgiving in this regard), and blizz always seems to tweak them to good levels with the first major patch.

this this this a million times over. With flex raiding and LFR now a staple for everything below Mythic difficulty, there is zero reason to min/max your class choices in PvE based on DPS (as always PvP will distill to what overwhelmingly works). Play what you enjoy in PvE.

I hadn't seen the new models in game until I loaded up the expansion. After the initial shock of there being something different wore off, I discovered that my dwarf has the most amazing /cower facial expression.

Awesome. Love the new models.

Question: Is there any good reason to save Follower Quests at the Garrison for followers that you want to level up quicker? I'm tempted to save all the quests until I get a follower with Tailoring or Enchanting (the two profession buildings I will eventually have). I want those mats!

What is the best way to get garrison resources before i hit level 100? I want to get it to level 3 before that or at least have the gold and 2000 garrison stuff.

I just hit 100, and really want to try tanking (never really done it in an MMO). Are the normal mode dungeons forgiving enough for a newbie to learn tanking?

There will always be a bottom spec but I'm sure blizzard will take a look at classes that are underperforming. There's also the issue of item scaling, some specs outperform other specs when you get higher gear level. I think shamans are just in need of work all around though. Unless you're doing progressive raiding or carrying your guild, I'd say stick with whatever asethetically pleases you or find the gameplay enjoyable, though I know for a certain segment of people they take pride in topping charts. In that case check out ww monk or glad warrior for melee. I think feral dps is high as well.

Play the class you enjoy. Don't pay attention to the flavor / rages of the month unless the only happiness you get from the game is dominating the DPS recount charts.

Hit 100 earlier today. Yay

Went to try Ashran. Low and behold, another queue! Not really sure my super high population server needed Ashran to be cross-realm at launch Blizzard!

Kinda bummed at how fast you level up. I hit 100 before I even finished Arak. That's just from doing all the quests and bonus objectives.

I still haven't played any of this expansion yet. Hopefully I'll have time this weekend.

HOWEVER...I've been listening to the CE soundtrack in my car and my god, it is wonderful.

It's kind of a bummer but I always just keep questing after I hit the cap, usually when I'm bored with group stuff or waiting for queues. It's a great way to make some money and see new zones / different quest designs. The only difference is I don't flash gold every few hours!
