I've never gone further than Ruin in my Warlock career, so I'm unaware of Conflag's importance, but I will be tempted to at least try this out come next patch.

Man starting out on a new PVP server (Dark Iron) is awesome because everyone is on the same level as far as rank goes.

And a Fury/Protection Warrior does so much DPS they're almost like a Rogue in chain. Some Horde tried to start ganking newbies in Loch Modan yesterday and the Warlocks couldn't even get a spell off before being dropped.

You're a brave man starting there. The PA and PVPOnline sites have started a guild war on there:p

Good god Hunters are idiots.....they ask for Counterattack back and get Readiness removed instead...

And now Spirit Bond is nerfed to a max of 2% of health every 10 seconds.

The Hunter revamp hasn't even gone live yet and things are already going downhill again :lol

They really should have kept their mouths shut and wait until they're able to TEST the changes first before crying.

I started a Rogue on one of the new servers (Moonrunner) and hit 45 tonight. Some of the farmers on the server are insane - one is already 60.

The server transfer stuff is a nightmare for people transferring. Farmers on the transfer TO servers are going on the transfer FROM servers and doing a /who for all the big guilds. They then go to the transfer TO server and register the guild name and the names of everyone in the guild and demand huge amounts of gold from people who want to transfer to the server:

Noob question -- have you ever gotten "stuck" in a profession? Right now I'm 119 in Mining, but there is nothing I can do to raise my proficiency. At 125 I can mine iron, but right now smelting silver, bronze, tin, and copper does nothing -- it's all grey. How am I supposed to get to the next level now? Maybe mining silver veins will help up my stats, but those are really hard to come by.

With mining, every vein you mine that's green or yellow has a chance to up your skill, but only at each NEW vein. So you'll have to search around for vens. At that skill level, you won't be gaining skill points by smelting, you got to find veins.

Penny Arcade has no idea how to run a MMO guild. They have a rule in their guild if you sell something on the AH for a price higher than an officer thinks the item is worth, you're kicked from the guild. :lol

Howl of Terror - Casting time reduced to 1 second.
Seduction - Any curse cast on a seduced target will now break seduction.
Improved Curse of Weakness - Now increases the effect of your Curse of Weakness by 20/40/60%.
Improved Drain Soul - Duration of the mana regeneration effect increased to 20 seconds.
Improved Curse of Agony - Talent replaced with a new talent called Anguish.
New Talent (Affliction): Anguish - Reduces the casting time of your Fear spell by 0.3/0.6/1 sec. A tier 4 talent.
Improved Drain Mana - Now a tier 3 talent.
Curse of Exhaustion - Duration increased to 20 seconds.

Man, I think those might be fake. We already know Conflagrate is getting buffed, but does Fear/Seduction need to be further nerfed? I thought they were pretty much done with Warlocks and moving on to Hunters.

After playing this game for MONTHS, finally advancing to the midgame content:p My guild(all 4 of us regulars) did a run on Zul Farrak last night. Was my first time there and was surprised by the pyramid hah. We were level 43-44, me(rogue), warrior, druid, priest.

I was SHOCKED but we actually beat Sgt Bly and his crew, it was insane, especially since I had no clue what would happen next:) Only took one combat res on the priest to keep us alive and some judicious critting from my Widowmaker, hehe. Fun times indeed, can't believe I soloed for so long!

I wouldnt be shocked if they were true. But you get Fear before Drain Soul. I dont know how they'd manage that one.

That event has been severely nerfed. The NPC's used to be able to die and it was a lot tougher.

The NPCs had to be killed anyways, I would've preffered if they died, that last part was the toughest part!

I might post some screenshots later, but my guild spawned Ragnaros for the first time last night. We killed Domo on the 3rd attempt (which is pretty good since this was the first time we fought him), and decided to just see what Rag looked like. It is such an awesome looking moment when he pops out of the lava. It will probably be another month until we have the gear to give a series attempt at taking him down.

It was entirely pickup for one, and we had no idea how to get past the bridge. We ended up throwing Lok at them to take north tower, and then they started breaking off and cheesing the southern gys so we got the southern after a bit of wear. I think in the end everyone got the idea that getting off the fucking bridge and out of the aoe spam is the key to victory.

Well, after a nice career on the archimonde server. I took advantage of the move to a smaller server. The server instabilities and powergamers were just a bit to much for me these days. Its the only server I've ever played on so it will be interesting to see how it is to be on a "stable" pvp server.

You're lucky you weren't on a different server or else you may have had to pay 100-2000g for your name.

Look up a few posts. I put a link one of the many threads on the boards about what's happening.

Basically punks on the servers where people are transferring to go on the servers they are transferring from and do a /who on all the large guilds. They then go back to the new server and register all the names of the players in the guild. This prevents people from transferring over with the same name, and they demand huge amounts of gold to free up the name.

eh blizzard should just delete any name that is identical to the name of a high level transfering, that has been created since the character move was announced.
