Have any of you successfully changed the name associated with your account?
A while back, (Halfway through BC). My girlfriend was interested in trying out WoW, I told her that she could make a character on my account and check it out. She leveled her druid up to 63 and decided that she wanted to get the game for herself.
She went out and bought her own copy and the expansions. She asked if there was any way to get her druid onto her account. I looked it up, and the only way to transfer a character across accounts is if both accounts are registered under the same name. She made the account under my name, and paid the character transfer fee and now she has her druid.
Now whenever she signs online and when she whispers me, it says my name. :lol
, adds a lot of much needed freshness to the game. I was getting really bored with my resto shaman but the new stuff looks like it'll add some spice to it
