everybody spams in trade on EU-Ravencrest. It's basically impossible to have it on.
every time I take it off I feel that I am missing the community. I cant live with it, cant live without it.
and I only have one window. I should clean up my UI, and have another combat log window, and then a third one exclusively for guild, tells, whispers and important msgs.

Call Blizzard. The 15 minute wait is worth it. I got hacked over a period of time (I wasn't sure when I was but it was over 4 months) and Blizzard restored all of my characters. They didn't give me any gear but they gave me money on each of my characters and x50 Triumph AND Frost emblems. Definitely helped me out. For some reason my main had all of his gear though.

When I was hacked I didn't know how they were able to get my account. Basically nobody is safe at all unless you buy an authenticator for additional security. Even if you're the type of person that is paranoid about making sure nothing on your hard drive is infected (like me) you can still get your account compromised. I was probably in the group that had their accounts compromised during the Adobe Flash vulnerability.
You know, I'm sick and fucking tired of these hackers already. I'm sick of hearing people get hacked, I'm sick of getting 6 beta invites a day by just going to www.us-battle-gotyourinfotostealyourshit.net. I have to look in my crimes code book to see if there's something that would hold up in court against them, because right now it's like they have a free run at things. Blizzard never goes after these people. Granted overseas maybe hard to do, nor cost efficient, but at least nab these hackers in the states and such, and where ever else Blizzard has an operations center.

Blizz gives people a guide on how not to get hacked. What else can they reasonably do?
I'm hoping Blizzard does something a little different with the Cataclysm CE. MousePad, Non combat Pet, Art Book, TCG starter packs, Behind the Scenes DVD, OST is a good deal but it would be nice if they swapped out the starter pack for a Deathwing statue or something.
Looking back on them though, those CE's are a pretty good deal :lol

The only way to stop people from hacking and such is to go after them. That'd put an end to all of this. Find the people who are logging into the accounts from where, find the people that extract the info from those phishing sites. It'd be a lot of work, but it would be worth it for how annoying it's becoming.

Seriously though...who gives a shit? There are slightly more important things for police to worry about than some neckbeard who was looking at horse porn and got his epics stolen. Not to mention that Blizzard makes money off of those gold sellers having accounts, so they aren't super motivated in the first place.

Well the thing is everything is property of Blizzard in the end by the ToS. You signing up for the account isn't the same way as being the owner of a car that a bank has the title for via the loan.
I know there's more important things for police to be doing, you don't have to tell me, but if I would ever get a call about this, I'll go all Seagal, Caine, Mackey on their ass when I got there. Annoy fucks.

So I tried the Kulu'ak Derby today for laughs. Is there anything one can do to improve their chances of fishing up that shark quickly like getting the fishing hat, Kulu'ak fishing rod, and anything else that'll bump up one's fishing stats, or is it all just the luck of the draw in terms of how quick one can fish the thing up?
