I think Western Europe is ok But I'd like to see the data on Russian cities.
That's because you're not free. You may as well be living behind bars.
Apparently, South America is the most fucked up place on Earth.
How the fuck is New Orleans above STL? Stupid American here I guess but when I have visited East STL I have feared for my life and New Orleans always gets so much praise for being awesome.
According to the newsletter I get from the mayor, St. Louis is always misrepresented on these lists because they calculate the city murder rate from only the downtown population.
For some reason St. Louis has 1.3 million people, but they only count the crime statistics of the 300k that live downtown.
New Orleans is higher than Detroit? Damn.
Haha, I beat you by like 5 seconds.
Can't believe how much violence is still in N.O. It was bad right after Katrina and still going.
Granted we were only there for a week and a half, but in seeing most of New Orleans' neighborhoods, the only sketchy parts also looked 95% abandoned. The rest was very bright/friendly/crowded. Weird.
FUCK. lets gunfight.
Man, Central & South America, fuck me.
I was surprised about that too.
In 1994, the year of the Groves murder, New Orleans attained the unwanted distinction of being "The Murder Capital of America." Between January 1 and December 31, four hundred and twenty-one homicide victims gave the Crescent City the highest per capita murder rate in the nation.
Woa! Chihuahua, Mexico is #8. My company has a plant down there and I go down there a fair amount. Didn't realize it would be up so high it's not too bad around there. It is mexico though.... Maybe I just haven't seen the real bad areas.
From CNN:
EDITED:List of 50 dangerous cities
Looks like Ciudad Juarez is improving... Northern México..
or maybe you are not in a cartel so you don't have to fear anything ?
people don'tjust shoot random peoplealways
... Or am I?!
Very true though. There's an applebees directly next to the hotel I stay at in Chihuahua. A retired police chief was grabbing some lunch there and some cartels drove up next to the window and shot him through the window. Crazy sure, but I found it even crazier that they repaired and cleaned everything and were open for dinner.
The place of my heritage.25 San Juan, Puerto Rico
I was surprised PR was ranked higher that Detroit. I hear about how things have gotten kind of crazy over there in PR. Didn't know it was this bad :/Wow, I didn't know San Juan was so dangerous.
