Don't believe everything they say bro, San Juan is fucked up right now and the towns round it which is like 3 towns more, but the rest of the island isn't so BAD. Where I live we had like 4 murders last year, which isn't so bad to be honest, at least not compared to the other 1,100+ that happened last year, which mostly happened in San Juan (and the three towns around it). I'm not saying it isn't bad here but not as most of the media make it out to seem. Basically keep away from the capital city lol
