Would you ever consider abandoning consoles entirely for PC in the future?

No, even though I spend 90%+ of my gaming time on PC and this is increasing because of how more and more japanese devs are porting their games to PC. But there will still be console games I want to play that I can't on PC.
I might end up waiting a long time to buy a console, but I can't give them up completely. I mean, I still havent bought anything from this gen aside from 3DS (if that counts), but I know that in couple years I will get PS4 for stuff like Last Guardian or Persona 5.

I did this very thing for the first ~3 years of this console generation. I only got a PS4 when its library of exclusive titles that I was interested reached a number I was happy with. Even then, it was a gift. I probably would have held out until around Christmas of next this year.

I have always prided myself on building the biggest, bad ass RIG I could do and have done so every 2-3 years, but honestly, with getting older and such, I am actually thinking of going Console only. With the PS4 PRO and Scorpio coming, while they cant match my current rig at all, sometimes I end up spending so much time configuring games, that it takes some enjoyment out of it. I love the pop in play that consoles provide. Still have not decided 100% if I will do it, but thinking about it.

What do you need to tweak? As I mentioned in the thread I've gone from a sole console gamer for the last 10 years, back to PC and except for the weird shit, I don't need to tweak anything.

Sure if I want to try and get MAME working via Big Picture Mode or play a DOS game that's 20 years old I need to fiddle around. However I think all of the games I've downloaded from say Steam since I got my PC just work.

What i'm really enjoying the most too isn't really the PC games, it's MAME, Dolphin, CEMU and all that stuff that I can just launch and play.

I got the switch to add a console and coming back from Pax East I now have 10+ pc games I'm waiting to play now and realized will i even use the switch much.

FFS, it's not about the platforms, it's about the games!! People defend the ps4 because it has good exclusives that you can only play there; nobody defends the xbone because it doesn't have any exclusives.

Havig a PC is way more useful than a console, i'll give you that. But consoles have their own games and that is why i'm still with consoles.

I'll go where the good games are. Btw, i have a gaming pc too
