well they ran a commercial here for RAW on July 24 saying there was a match between Edge and Cena for the WWE championship. So RVD's title reign will be short.

Yeah, ECW needs their own belt, Raw needs their belt back. ECW is going to have to stand on it's own without WWE involved. So it is a good kick off to have RVD with Raw's belt, but ECW needs their own.

Yes, they make a replica HArdcore belt. BTW, it's not a smashed IC belt.... it's a smashed up "winged Eagle" WWF title. Some rumor it as Bret's actual title belt when he left for WCW.

Shane Douglas trashing the NWA title.
ALundra Blaze trashing the Womens title.

Then you had the Flair situation where he took the belt with him...but ended up selling it back to WCW.

Rhino is still in posession of the ECW World and TV Titles....

It's contradictory to Cena's character of being respectful of the business and the title. i hate custom belts anyway. Just takes away something for me.

And the former Champion is looking forward to showcasing his new demeanor on the Sci Fi Channel Tuesday night.


“Tomorrow is the television debut of ECW, and I’m gonna show up,” said Cena Monday night on RAW. “And when I do, I’m gonna do whatever the hell I wanna do. So, Paul Heyman, thank you for throwing this party tomorrow night because John Cena will have an ‘extremely’ good time.” Cena already decimated three ECW wrestlers on RAW. What will the enraged former Champion have in store for Tuesday night?

The ECW show, which will air nationally at 10 p.m. ET, was scheduled to air live but the decision has been made today to tape the show before Smackdown and air it on tape delay. The word I got is that they are doing it to make sure that the initial broadcast is a clean airing, with no glitches.

Mike Johnson is at the show and will be posting spoilers for the show, as it happens.

I just finished watching Raw from last night.

Some thoughts:

1) The crowd was totally awesome

2) Foley/Flair - Foley should have been the face, even though it seems like they're going in the other direction. Oh, and Foley-Flair will be a trainwreck of a match.

3) JR ****ed it up by saying it too early, but aside from that, the DX reunion was pretty damn good. Mostly because of the crowd.

Well guys I don't usually post in these threads but I have been watching for the last couple of months and went to Raw last night because it was at my school, Penn State. Some interesting stuff that happened:

I'm not sure if it's always like this at Raw but the side where they shoot the show from was basically completely blocked off and a lot of the upper areas of the BJC were too. There were a lot of people there though beyond that which surprised me a little since PSU is only in it's first summer session right now and there aren't many students. That was also good in that it enabled me and 3 friends to get tickets for 10 bucks.

Foley called it the University of Pennsylvania and everyone cheered, which was pretty dumb and Lillian didn't know the name of the arena either. She called it the Brian Jordan Center and it's the Bryce Jordan Center.

They really need to do something during commercials and during stupid See No Evil promos, because the crowd gets pretty dead. They have the one guy come out and ask trivia questions for T Shirts (he asked a kid with Downs Syndrome one and didn't even give him a shirt when he answered wrong) but there's a lot of dead time. I don't know if they showed this but after going to commercial when HHH mooned McMahon he also said "If you haven't figured it out yet, we've got two words for ya... SUCK IT!!!" and the King of Kings music came on again.

There were two guys, one dressed as Sabu and the other as Tommy Dreamer right by me the whole night and they looked ridiculous. The best signs I saw were:

1. "Things I hate: 1. John Cena, 2. Michigan, 3. Bicycles" or something like that for 3 I can't remember exactly what it said.
2. "Edge stole Big Ben's helmet" Even though I'm a huge Steelers and Big Ben fan it was pretty funny.

Those are the two best ones I saw from my vantage point which was pretty much directly across from the Titan Tron. Overall the show was pretty decent live. The DX reunion made the show and a Flair-Foley promo was unexpected and sweet, but the last match was really stupid and a lot of the stuff in the middle was worthless. Umaga is a piece of crap who we saw get out of a yellow Hummer on the way to the arena.

Biggest pops of the night:

1. DX reunion, HHH got almost as big of one as Cena originally but after the reunion was biggest
2. Cena (a lot of younger kids in the crowd that mixed in with the older, more cynical college kids who didn't like him)
3. Foley or Kane
4. This is random, but Snitsky wrestled a Heat match and got a huge ovation because he's from Penn State. Like, really really big.

Major Heat:

1. Spirit Squad
2. Umaga got a lot because his angle is retarded
3. Ending to the Cena-Edge match and Orton-Kane match (Orton also got essentially no reaction except for my buddy Ross who loves him)
4. Matt Striker because he just ripped on PSU and Joe Paterno, this was on Heat
