k folks.. here it is.. edge is why I tune into RAW. he is the ****ing man, and I would be lying if I didn't say my finger is on the Buy buytton for a Rated R shirt right now... HHH is awesome and HBK is this generation's Hogan... but edge is easily the most entertaining "wrestler" on the show (well, maybe just slightly above carlito, though I don't like them turning him into a babyface). that was freaking awesome.
as for Saturday Night Main Event... ehh... McMahon wants a big network pop for WWE... you can't fault him for that.. he just isn't getting that saturday night tv is nowhere near what it was back in the 80's. people actually used to stay home and watch TV on saturday nights and some of the most watched shows of the week were on then. it just ain't like that anymore.. of course with wrestling on network TV currently in the crapper, vince sure as hell ain't gonna get a better time slot.. so oh well. you gotta do what you can with it.

5 years ago, I would be right with y'all with the smark shit, but it's comes a time where you have to step away from the computer and the dirt sheets and just enjoy what's on tv despite how bad it may be. This dawned upon me right after the Katie Vick angle. I stop caring about how bad WWE got and began to laugh at how stupid it was.
Some of you just saw that Stand Back video for the first time tonight, but Jericho used it around 2001 in a much better way.
I think I still have that on a tape somewhere :lol

I'll give WWE credit over the last month they've made some SERIOUS strides in regards to what they are putting n TV. They still have problems though. I'd say that even if I didn't read websites (which I mostly read for indy news and results) my feelings about the terrible use of characters and forced 80's gimmicks would still be the same.

Hell, being critical is half the fun of it. Most of the criticism revolves around thing that they SHOULD be doing to hvae a better show. One of the prime examples is JUST TURN CENA HEEL AGAIN AND STOP HANDICAPPING HIS TALKING. That's what brought him this far, so it makes no sense to handcuff him.

Anyway...doesnt anyone here think that Cena is coming awfully well off in every match recently untill the very end? He is always dominating, even last night on RAW. I enjoyed RAW last night... I think the McMahon skit went a little too long, but HHH's McMahon growl was dead on... Honestly, I am looking forward to tonight... ECW last night redeemed the value of the entire product. RVD vs. Angle is an awesome match already scheduled, and I expect to see lots of wrestling like I did last week. I know there will be an Edge run-in, but Angle performing is one of the best things (still) in wrestling today.

I must be completely desensitized to "WWE Divas" because every chick in that tryout video looked completely generic and uninteresting. A few of the "asses" were also non-existant and I'm not usually someone who notices or care about the ass.

There is no doubt Edge or Cena will walk out with the title at SNME. Edge deserves a long title run. He has been easily the MVP of raw this year and has busted his ass with anyone they've booked him against.
But as I said weeks ago, if they didn't get rid of the spinner, Cena will get it back--which is what i'm thinking will happen.
