Again, the smarkest thing ever, the wwe has never been able book anything long than 3 months, from all the stuff we known reigns was the guy until sometime this week.
...we know that's a lie though. Cena / Rusev has been building for months on end. HHH / Sting went from November till the end of March. (And arguably longer, seeing as the Sting attacking the Authority parallels the Sting vs NWO / authority storyline from WCW). Orton / Rollins has been brewing for months as well; really since Summerslam.
That's the thing; we all talk about this "stuff we known" like it it gospel...except for gospel it sure seems to keep not happening a whole hell of a lot. You don't think the Brock / Rock rumor happening right after Lesnar re-signed was a little convenient considering what Rock actually did at WM (and appears to be setting up for next year's WM)? The entire Rollins build has shown that WWE can get their most ardent fans to completely be surprised by an obvious storyline buildup if the right "rumors" get out on the internet. We are at the point where we believe any rumor that fits our own pre-existing world views. Everyone was shocked at Rollins with the title; until you look backwards for the last year and realize that was...kind of predictable. They booked Reigns strong like everyone thinks they stereotypically would, and they book Rollins strong the way everyone thinks they should, and we fall hook line and sinker for Reigns and ignore Rollins.
Tickets are apparently free.
The only tickets that matter are house show tickets, don't you know?
So, because apparently math is difficult.

Our multiple sports entertainment brands allow us to perform more than 320 live events a year within the United States and abroad.
So, there are 52 RAWs and 12 PPVs a year. 64. Out of 320. So that is...exactly 20% of their events. Now, at least in Seattle; tickets to the live events are the same price (except for the floor seats, which number a few hundred) as they are for RAW. (Takes place in the same arena too).
Even if you say that a RAW / PPV is 50% more than a house show (which it isn't, but hey, what ever)...that turns into 30%. The other 70% is, in fact, more important than the 30%.
