Good episode of RAW that deserves the higher viewers. Looks like people stuck around for the third hour too. That's what happens when you put something compelling on.

You can't deny that Vinnie Mac bump. I think it had actually waned a while back from overuse but they've held off long enough now and his presence was actually impactful this time.

Plus I think people are generally more interested in seeing him be a turd and/or show his ass.

It was a good episode where stuff happened. Hopefully they'll keep it going instead of settling for the same old routine. They need to freshen things up and keep it unpredictable and fun. Let's wait and see.

I think the potential of seeing the title change hands on Raw was the reason for the bump, as well as Vince. I won't attribute any ratings boost to Roman yet.

He's definitely a part of it though.

Yeah I'll be willing to tune back in if that happens.

The Extreme Rules match was awesome. Just an all out war where the camera guys don't even know what to focus on. Combine that with Vince and a title change, it is so good.

The talent was pretty much unchanged between the ratings crash and the ratings spike. The fundamental difference was in how they were booked and Creative.

Clearly actually making the effort to make your tired 3-hour weekly show mean SOMETHING goes a long way towards rallying viewer interest. And, the thing is, this was still largely booked around a central angle. That garbage Extreme Rules match was a delight but it didn't exactly advance any storylines, develop any feuds or get anyone over. This was a one-feud show... pretty much Roman's Redemption RAW... and it worked. Of course, if they put this amount of effort and attention to detail into their entire roster, they wouldn't need to hot shot an angle like this and would have an invested audience instead of a disenchanted one.

I hope they took notice of what the people want and next week bring back Sabu, the Sandman, and RVD.

Sounds like this ratings slump isn't permanent enough for them to make any changes, Cena and no Football will probably be enough for them to keep things below mediocre quality.

Lol. Lats night was a top 10 worst RAW's I have ever seen.

How could you expect anything else from a Xmas Raw? Even back when Raws were good, Xmas shows were bad. If I was forced to sit in front of a TV last night, USA would have been the absolute last channel I turned on.

I still don't know how they're getting numbers that high.

So not worth it

Christmas Raw is next week, this was Slammy Raw.

Monday’s WWE Raw scored a 2.33 rating, down from the 2.66 rating the show drew last week. Raw averaged 3.377 million viewers, down from the 3.88 million average from last week.

The December 22nd, 2014 edition of Raw delivered a 2.66 rating with 3.521 million viewers. The 2014 Slammy Awards aired on December 8th last year and produced a 2.66 rating with 3.70 million viewers.

I missed this week's RAW figuring they might have used everything they had in their pocket on last week's show. Looks like I made a good decision.

I guess putting strong effort into your 3 hour show two week's in a row would be far too disruptive to the shit parade Vince/Steph & Co. are so deeply invested in. Doing things outside your comfort zone is hard.

Where the fuck is Brock anyway?

Come back and destroy Roman again already.

Roman ain't losing man. Not for like another 5 years now. If Vince himself had to put him over then its staying that way for a long long time.

Brock will probably enter the Rumble and get eliminated by Undertaker so they can feud again for several months.

Roman's next year of feuds will consist of HHH, Rollins and league of rejects. Probably Cena as well.

Wildcard berths that can't beat teams without a winning record should have homefield advantage
I still fully expect either Cena or Brock to win the Rumble and then the title at WM.

IMO, the way they should go is have Brock enter at #1 and absolutely destroy everyone else. It's never been done before and it gives Brock that unstoppable image he had before the Taker feud.
