I just used a polish proxy (input via proxy settings in Chrome, list from here: http://spys.ru/free-proxy-list/pl/), and got a key in the UK for £24 GBP. Payed via PayPal so nice and secure, key came through immediately via email. Entered it into Steam, pre-loading now. All worked fine.

Slightly better than the £40 Steam wanted in the UK for the game, I won't feel so bad now if it turns out to be rubbish! (I'm sure it wont).

Any review is based on around 100h of playthrough is useless for this game.

Same goes for Path of Exile for example, just read Eurogamer review, where they havent even finished act 1 normal ...

Depends. A quick "it isn't a broken mess" would still be somewhat handy.

Gotta remember it's a replica stick. So you need rudder pedals as well.

And honestly, it's waaaaaay to cumbersome for all the arcade drivel. I use my Thrustmaster T-16000M for everything else. The Warthog is mainly for DCS and the upcoming IL2.

That makes sense. It was a future investment anyway because of star citizen.

Although the Polish language on those pages is a bit intense :)

Keep your eyes peeled for a similiar Black Flag (Steam version) deal please :)

Because they seem to have fixed what was wrong with the other games, watered it down a bit.

So peeved at myself for splurging for the physical CE instead of taking the easy way out. Should'a known.

Just petulantly reiterating my bad luck at having to spend the damn weekend away and the horrid scenario in leaving an hour before the damn thing unlocked. My laptop weeps at my lack of ability to stall schedules.

I'm in the same boat on the physical CE (got to match my superbox!) and I feel like its worth the wait. Granted I may get impatient and buy it over steam but I hope my ps4 can distract me for a week or so. Damn ocean between countries....
