Xb1/PS4 owners, are you happy with your purchase or regret it?

Bit dissapointed with my PS4.

Aside from FIFA Online (which frankly I could be playing exactly the same on PS3) and watching BDs I haven't touched it since around Christmas when the shiny graphics of Killzone wore off and I'd played War Thunder to death.

In retrospect I should have waited and bought one in spring this year once a few more games are out. Bit of a drought going atm.

On the non-gaming side, I'm still not able to stream movies or play video files from USB which is somthing I expected shortly after launch. PS3 was perfect in this respect, and you can bang on about PS4 being a "Games first" machine all you like but for it to be lacking what became basic features on its predecessor, make it feel like a step back.

Again, probably should have waited till later this year before jumping in. Oh well, I'll enjoy it in the long run I'm sure.

I love my ps4 and I use to be a 360 guy.
I love my crispy ACIV, beat some high core on resogun, playing aome BF4 (sorry Gaf, but actually the game run like heaven)
I love my NBA 2K14
Yes, I'm actually very happy with next gen

I absolutely love my XB1. Everything about it by and large is great, and the small software niggles will be worked out in patches. Games are great (the exclusives out of the gate crush PS4's in my opinion) and 2014 looks even better.

I'll get a PS4 eventually but until a huge exclusive hits, graphics be damned, I don't feel like I have a reason to.

PS4 and I'm happy with it. It's a nimble machine. Mostly playing Killzone and Resogun. I would have picked up an Xbox at launch but I'm kind of laying in the cut and seeing what types of things Microsoft is going to do.

Basically the only reason I bought the ps4 in December instead of waiting was because I had the opportunity to buy it for $300, Figured it would be a while before it got cheaper than that.
I have only bought Resogun, which I like but I do wish there was another game that I could really sink my teeth into. On the other hand, this is the first console I have ever bought at launch, so it's hard to compare how I feel about it compared to other systems I had purchased (when they already had games I wanted).
I'm kinda disappointed that the in-game graphics in the Deep Down trailer we saw about a year ago were bullshit. Other than that, I'd say I was happy with my purchase and I can see the potential of what it can offer, and I don't regret it.

I've got PS4 and Xbox One and I'm very happy with both of them, PS3 and 360 are disconnected and removed from the AV Unit, I just need one of them to enable the playback of 3D Blurays now

I don't regret buying the PS4 but I probably should have waited until Destiny came out to get one. I find myself playing Wii U more at this point since there aren't really any must have games so far on next gen systems.

Was okay with my PS4 until I played the TLOU DLC on the PS3 and realized how great the PS4 was. I guess i was just taking the ease of use and accessibility of the PS4 for granted.

PS4 here. Pretty happy with the system itself but waiting on little things like being able to change the home background and video streaming options. Also waiting on more games but that will come with time.

No Regrets.

Glad I got PS4 over Xbone for multiple reasons, most of all the HW power difference and OS that is free of marketing everywhere. $100 cheaper is just gravy.

I'm mainly a PC gamer so my PS4 will be almost entirely used for exclusives, sports games, and fighting games and any of those odd games that are console only.

PS4 is a great system. I'm looking forward to when the big titles start coming out that are developed exclusively on next gen platforms. I also know I'll get the best versions of 3rd party games. I would have considered a X1 before last year, but now will never buy a X1 as MS showed their true colors last year and I will not support them. I know the PS4 will have a long life with great titles for many years as Sony always supports their consoles for longer than any other company so the future will be bright.

I enjoy my PS4 and like my XB1. The PS4 is smooth to navigate and easy to operate. My wife and I are having fun with the Xbone (had a blast with Titanfall today) but still needs some serious work on the UI side. The update that we just received this weekend helped me deal with some of the issues I had with the Xbone but there's still some improvements to allow it to get onto the level that the XB360 is on. All in all, I'm glad we have both and can't wait to play some of the awesome games that are coming out for both consoles.

I've played and/or sold everything I've bought for my PS4. So right now it's just hanging out next to my PS3 which is getting more attention.

I'm absolutely happy with my purchase; I'm just waiting on the rest of the games to start coming.

Very happy with my PS4 purchase. Have played through ACIV, half of killzone, 3/4 of BF4 SP [ugh corrupted save], quite a bit of Ghosts SP, MP for all three of those mostly BF4 though which is pretty great when it works right, Contrast, and some of resogun.

Oh and all of knack. I thoroughly enjoyed knack :)

System is great but a bit barebones. Really needs an update. Quite annoyed by the lack of external media support which is dumb and I will hold against Sony until rectified.

Controller is pretty great but battery sucks big time. Light bar is annoying and we should absolutely have the ability to turn it off although I may get one of those decals that makes it look cool. Use the headphone jack a hell of a lot

PS live is addicting to watch.

I suppose I'm happy with what I've gotten out of the PS4 thus far so while I realize people want more games for it I also accept that it's been out for 3 months thus far so don't hold it against it to be honest

I would add the "custom soundtracks" via Music Unlimited as another point. Just give me music off the hard drive, my collection is actually my tastes and songs; not something similar.

Still needs a few other features, like DLNA support, but I've been very happy with it--controller, streaming, bg updates, fast everything, and great games.

I own both consoles and I'm very happy with both. Already beat all the next gen games I wanted to play so I'm patiently waiting for more games to get released. I've put more time with my PS4 though, but thats mainly due to AC4. Dead Rising 3 got the most play time on my Xbox One so far.

Had a Xbox one. Will pick up again later down the line. PS4 is a better piece of mind purchase. Hard to be unhappy with it as a console only gamer. It being the most powerful system ever and all.

love my PS4. theonly problem is i cant stop playin bf4 so i have too many ps4 games unplayed...thanks in most part to ps plus. i finished Black Flag and not even half the Shadowfall campaign.

i havent touched:

Resogun
Contrast
Don’t Starve
Outlast
Lego Marvel Superheroes ( 50% off on PSN now)

Edit: and Blacklight and Warframe.

The notion that PS4 has a weak game lineup in the 3months since launch is a myth.

Don't regret buying a PS4, I just wish I had waited a while.

Not very many of the launch games interested me. I've beaten ACIV and played a lot of Resogun. I'm starving for something else. Glad I saved my PS3, as I still have a helluva backlog on that and thats what I've been playing over the last month.

Bought an Xbox One at release and I don't 'regret' it, but I definitely could have waited.

I thought I would enjoy Forza, Killer Instinct, and Crimson Dragon more than I would - but they didn't hold my interest very long. I then bought Battlefield 4 which I played for 2 hours before absolutely dreading it.

I purchased Max: Curse of the Brotherhood which is probably the most enjoyable game I've got so far.

I'm enjoying the multimedia functionality, but it leaves a lot to be desired.

All in all, its just kind of sitting there whilst I'm playing my Wii U and Vita a hell of a lot more.

So, I don't regret it, but I probably could have waited....

PS4 owner, no I do not regret my decision. Part of me really wants an Xbox One for stuff like Titanfall and Sunset Overdrive, but thats the one I'll wait for a backlog for and for exclusives. I really only play CoD on my PS4 at the moment so I really could have just stuck with PS3, but I enjoyed Knack and Killzone, still trying to play Marvel Lego and AC:BF when I'm not on CoD MP with my friends and family.

hmmmm is it worth $18? i have a amazon digital code for PS4 downloads only and thinking of buying killzone

Not a great story, very frustrating portions of the game, but overall I enjoyed the SP and the MP is really good, I just prefer CoD.

I started out my PS4 experience with Resogun, Knack, AC4 and Injustice.

I was pretty lukewarm on all of them except Resogun, and Injustice but they didn't hold my attention too well. I was too frustrated with AC4's naval sequences to enjoy it.

So far I don't regret it because it's a cool device and just...a nice thing, but I want some games I really like!

Looking forward to Thief, Infamous and Strider...but I'm definitely aching for games.

Happy with my PS4, no regrets. I got almost no games for it (all PS+ titles I don't play and AC4 which I finished months ago) but that's ok. I knew that I'd get most games down the line.

I'm glad I didn't buy the XB1 because I'm a hardware guy (got a gamer PC, but I also love consoles and always need to have atleast one of the new gen consoles) and it would've killed me knowing I got the inferior hardware console with worse multiplat titles. No offense to anyone getting the XB1 though, my opinion.

Why do you regret it? You could still probably sell it before price drop and get most of your money back or depending on the store try to take it back.

I bought it for Dead Rising 3, played the hell out of it.

Just sits there since and does nothing for me. I don't want to be too rash with selling it just yet but I am seriously considering it.

I was expecting Battlefield 4 to hold me down until something else comes on the horizon, but that was just a broken disappointment for me.

Edit: It's entirely my fault for getting it. My gold ran out and I have absolutely no incentive to subscribe again, I don't even get benefits for one like the playstation 4 crowd do.

I am happy enough with my PS4. I've been through enough console gens to know that if you get a console at launch, you will be waiting for games, but I have definitely played enough on the system to make it worthwhile thus far. I usually see a console as being "worth it" once I've spent the same amount of games as I did on the system, I am already about half way there and will surpass that in like a month or two.

Just got the PS4 yesterday. Switched from a 360.

Loving it so far. AC4 and B4 are awesome. It runs fast and quiet. PSN and the overall interface have impressed me so far, and that was my biggest worry.

I kind of regret my Xbox considering i ponied up over 800 to play KI, but i like it.

Went to a local tourney this weekend all game but no KI, maybe i should have taken my Xbox

Honestly, I'd say sell it before they do the price drop. Your window to sell before price drop will be very small if npds keep coming in with PS4 outselling the X1 2 to 1 or more. Then get it again later when it's cheaper or a PS4(best version of 3rd party games) and will probably get the superior version of the next Dead Rising. MS probably won't buy the next one exclusive.

PS4 owner -- happy with it because I know the such amaze wow factor will come later when the big titles roll in. I fully planned for this however, I see consoles as long term investments.

I have not purchased an XB1 yet because its long-term future is still in doubt to me.

Very happy with my PS4. Probably helps that being older and with more obligations/responsibilities I don't get to play as much as I used to, but AC4 at next-gen levels kept me happy from when I got it with the PS4 a couple weeks before christmas up until last week when I beat it, and still lots to do/explore. I also am getting back into resogun which is kicking my ass still (haven't unlocked the last level yet), and I'm even building a (very small) backlog of things like warframe, don't starve and outlast thanks to PS Plus (played a good amount of contrast, just wasn't my thing). Still waiting for Infamous Second Son for the real killer app, but it has definitely kept me more than busy with plenty of entertainment so far.

Happy, happy, happy!

Sold my Ps3 about a month before the PS4 launched so my wife would allow me to get it. Haven't regretted it one minute. I got to play TLOU and Puppeteer before it sold so I had a great swan's song on my PS3.

I have played no fewer than 10 different games on my PS4 and they've all been great, well except for Outlast. It's not a bad game it's just that I'm too much of a chicken $#!) to play a horror game where I can't fight back.
