Alright, I was pissed because if you were already a game pass subscriber on pc, for play anywhere titles, you had to pay another $5 to unlock pc gamepass. If you just search 'Xbox Game Pass Ultimate' you can sub for just a $1.

For people who don't own an Xbox console and just use GP for PC gaming only, do we have need for Ultimate? Does Gold do anything for us? Or do we just need the 5 dollar PC subscription?

I had been subbed to GP for 10 bucks a month already and I don't know what to do now. So I cancel the old one and just go with the new 5 dollar one? PC only gamers don't need Gold, right?

Because PC is a different environment (people are used to paying less and it's easier to circumvent paying) and the console version I believe has more games.

One time I bought a PlayStation Vue to watch PlayStation Vue but it wasn't supported

Now that was confusing. It didn't support PlayStation Vue whatsoever. It allowed me to even download the app, but it wouldn't open.

They remove some third party games once in a while. I think there is a special section for this in the Gamepass mobile app. "Soon to be removed" or something.

Occasionally, they add more then they remove but. Believe it's over 250 now at the moment on xbox.

I just signed up with Windows Insider and updated everything, took a few minutes but whatever. Everything working now. For 5 bucks a month I am pretty happy with the selection off the bat. Finally gonna play Metro now.

I'm gonna opt out of Insider moving forward.

Good idea, Windows 10 is the biggest thing keeping me from this but a quick swap SSD is a decent solution.

Wow, Just upgraded to gamepads ultimate, the rest month of xbl gold and gamepads get added separate as paid month. Now I have a whole year of gamepads ultimate. Maybe you should consider upping your gold subscription before with a cheap code. That is than converted to up to 36 month of gamepads ultimate

And btw 12.99€ is it in Germany. That's a really good price.

Already having trouble with my first downloaded game, Forza Horizon 4 has no sound during gameplay but it's fine during cutscenes.

Try this: Right click on the speaker icon on the taskbar and click on Sounds, click the Playback tab. Go into the properties of your audio device and under Enhancements make sure that Disable All Enhancements is NOT checked. Reboot and it should be fixed.

Netflix doesn't work, they had negative cash flow of $3 billion in 2018 and the only reason they can sustain their operations is that they keep issuing debt that investors are (at the moment) willing to buy. Netflix has over $12 billion in debt.

If Netflix doesn't work then they would be bankrupt whereas it is the opposite. The only reason why this wouldn't work with a comapny like Sony is because they don't have as much resources as Netflix, Google, Microsoft or Amazon. Sony doesn't have the luxuary to think so long into the future whereas Microsoft is happy to use the Netflix business model with short term pain for long term gain.

For a company that has a flawed business model they sure are doing very well and is worth more than double of Sony.
