Xbox One Backwards Compatibility Thread: Everyone wants it, no one uses it

Dead Space, I'm all over that.

Also SUNSET OVERDRIVE! I bought it at launch but I'm glad more people will be able to play it.

I already have Sunset Overdrive, but I am glad others will get a chance to play it. I'll test Dead Space, but I already played through it a couple of times to get all the achievements. So it will be a play test to just see how it performs on X1. I never got all the achievements in 2 or 3, so hopefully they will get released for BC in the near future.

Would be amazing news if only my damn backward compatibility would work. Seems a few users like myself are experiencing no internet connection when trying to migrate the xbox account over to BC. No one knows what's going on and it's truly disappointing

From Bill Stillwell on Twitter:
If you are having issues with downloading your profile to play BC games on X1, we are aware of this and are working on a fix right now.

Thinking of games I'd love to be added to BC, Splinter Cell: Blacklist, KOF13 and Vanquish are probably at the top of my list right now. That said, MS have quickly built up a great little library at this point - TTT2 was a nice surprise.

And you know what? Toss Injustice: Gods Among Us on that list - it never got an X1 release :(

I tried Dark Souls. I'm okay with dying, but don't let me walk 1-2 minutes and kill the same 4 enemies everytime I die only to reach the very first boss at the start of the game. There is a big door right in front of that god damn bonfire. Let me use it.

Boon said it will be.

Great taste, sir. Injustice? Not so much.

That's not what I saw at all. There were a few brief moments it held 30 when the 360 didn't, but there were far more drastic drops on XB1. Look at that bridge segment with the dragon....pretty much sustained 15fps on XB1.

Are your eyes painted on, or are you just being VERY selective. I can do it too. First step into white light - 22 fps on 360, 30 fps on Xbox one. First boss - 14 fps on 360, 27 on Xbox one. Big bird - 22 fps on 360, 30 fps on Xbox one. Walking across bridge at 5 minutes, tanks on both, but clearly better overall on Xbox one.

In short, this is another game that in general runs as good as, if not better than the 360. With greatly improved load times too. It's a keeper ;)

I would imagine Injustice 2 will be announced at E3 with a "Injustice now backwards compatible" announcement.

As long as we get an Injustice 2

That announcement, I'd feel like

It's not better. Get that eye exam sir.

Digital Foundry:

Status: No tangible improvement to performance - experience impacted with additional frame-pacing and black crush issues

I'm still playing it and enjoying it, but yeah, it has problems.

My girlfriend has been playing Teken through BC for several hours. It runs perfect (and for £3 on the digital store it's a steal).

I have the last episode left in Alan Wake and I'll finish it tomorrow. This game has a really nice story.

It crashed once with a buzzing sound during episode 5.
