Xbox One Backwards Compatibility Thread: Everyone wants it, no one uses it

"everyone wants it" - no, not everyone. I'm sure there are plenty like myself who could care less. If I want to play the old games I pop them into my old system.

How likely is it that MUA could come to BC? Are there any Activision games so far, like any at all?

So sad, want to get it digitally so bad, but don't want to use my old 360 pads ever again...

That's not what I meant. I just meant if you insert Halo 3 360 disc, it should just download the MCC version of Halo 3 + Halo 3 multi and let you play that instead.
This is for backwards compatibility 360 games, not remastered release. If you want MCC version of Halo 3 + other Halo games, get MCC since it's super cheap right now.

Hoping we see another dump of games like the initial release in november during this e3?

They could be holding quite a few games back for that reason alone.

Hopefully we get a "now we can do multi-disk games" announcement as well.

This so much. Have my ME 1 save in the cloud ready to go. Renegade for life

Hope so, because I'd love to replay Lost Odyssey and other games. They could always have a surprise announcement of Original Xbox BC on way. :D

Like any option on any device ever, I'd rather have it and not want to use it than want it and not have the option at all.

C'mon MS, gimme both Marvel Ultimate Alliance games while they're on sale...

$10 a pop... meh

LEGO Star Wars the complete saga only $5, that's a great deal. Might finally sell my physical copy.

And LEGO Star Wars 3 is also $5, which I believe has already been announced for BC

$10 for MUA is a fantastic value. There's tons of game there, with all massive character lineup.

Lego Star Wars 3 (Clone Wars) is fantastic, easily the besy LEGO Star Wars game. $5 is a steal.

I'm having a lot of fun with Hydro Thunder Hurricane (just bought thanks to the latest sales), great gameplay, great track design, everything. I'm even appreciating the fact that loading times are short, we got so used to waiting 10+ seconds even for simple games.
I also bought the Lego Star Wars saga game, the difference in production value with the later Lego episodes is very noticeable, but it looks simple and entertaining.

Have they said if they're going to fix Reach? I popped it in again the other day the framerate is still really dicey and I was getting a bunch of audio issues as well.

I would like to see the practice of releasing a BC version of a 360 game at the same time as an X1 sequel to change. For instance, if Crackdown were to become BC, I'd like to replay it months ahead of Crackdown 3's launch.

Yeah I really like the inclusion of the older games, but I want to play them BEFORE the new one comes out. I got Doom 1 and 2 for preordering Doom 3 weeks before the new game comes out. That gives plenty of time to play them while waiting. But Fallout 3, for example, I didn't get until after Fallout 4 released.
