Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet - announced but not released yet.

I got rid of all the Kinect games that aren't coming.

I got rid of all the Kinect games that aren't coming.

Also, Halo: Spartan Assault is available both through BC and a native release, and there are a few games on that list that likely have licensing issues. Marathon is also pretty questionable as well. And Too Human is almost a guaranteed no-go since it got nuked into oblivion.

Edit: You're in the Movies is another peripheral game.

Thanks, updated some more :)

Thanks for the updates! I obviously wasn't sure about some of the games.

I spoke to the creator of Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet and he said they signed the papers months ago but they were just waiting on Microsoft.

Looks like we may not see Marvel Ultimate Alliance 1, 2, or Transformers: Fall of Cybertron go BC if this turns out to be true:

My biggest gripe with these publishers: squat or get off the pot.

Release your game for BC already. But if you're gonna be a prick and hold it out because you want to release it solely as a current-gen remaster...then release your d@mn remaster already.

Geez, we're approaching the fourth holiday season of the current consoles; make up your d@mn mind.

Fun fact, if you put that disc into your console, it will actually individually download each game that is backwards compatible for now. Such as Sonic, Sonic 2, Sonic 3, and Golden Axe.

False. The collection as a whole is worth 1000Gs, which means that the individual games don't have their own set of achievements like the XBLA versions do. Also, I gave it a try out of curiosity and it gave me the "This game is not backwards compatible" message.

Just makes me wonder how many games are backed up in the process

I imagine the biggest games are eating up the majority of their resources (including some imperfect games that have already been released getting new passes for newer emulator builds), likely with some man-hours set aside for a very long-ass queue of small-scale games.

I Think they want two things out of BC with the current process of getting games approved and brought over.

1: Variation. To have a broad variation of BC games instead of one type of category. Thats why we havent seen all CoD games being BC even though all of them are on the top of requested BC. One CoD game is enough and that is the most requested.
And this is why we have seen one Fable game becoming BC and not all of them, even though they all should have no problems getting over because MS owns Fable series and dont need the Publisher approval and so on.
Lost Oddesey and Blue Dragon have been confirmed because MS have very few japanese RPG on Xbox One, even though both games are not on the top of the requested titles, they bring variation to BC.

2: Quantity. So they can brag about how many BC games are playable on Xbox One. More than 200 games sounds better than more than 50. Even though these 200 are smaller and less asked for titles.

You have my vote as well. Especially if the Bioshock series doesn't come at all to BC... That would be a dick move by Take Two, even after giving us RDR.

Especially when they originally gave the ok. They even let MS put up a banner of coming soon, but then a few months later it was removed along with the coming soon for COD: BO and Skate 3. However, we at least got COD: BO.

Yeah, I mentioned that earlier in the thread. There was no good reason for them not to make MUA 1 and 1 BC as they are still available digitally. Then I saw that article and knew Disney and Activision were gonna say no to BC and force people to re-buy.

I've played a ton of Scene It back on the 360, would love to see them on the XboxOne! But I doubt the scene it controllers would work, but I guess you could just use the standard controller.

Yeah, it's just four (or five?) inputs. Think I remember using a controller at some point.

Metal Gear Rising needs to become bc asap. I'm playing through it right now and I'd love to record a lot of moments in this game :O³

Make it available via GwG next month and boom!

So, something odd's come up: I apparently can download a backwards-compatible version of Faery: Legends of Avalon.

I have no recollection of ever purchasing Faery: Legends of Avalon. I don't think it was ever given as Games with Gold. Something up with the system somewhere?

(One small possibility: I may, concievably, have won it playing 1vs100 without realising it. But I don't recall doing so, and I don't know if the release dates work out)

Never did complete Crystal Defenders, but seem to remember it was just about decent. Time to give it another go.
