I played Gears 3 horde on my Xbox One S last night and it crashed around wave 16 or so. I rebooted and played campaign for about 30 minutes and didn't get another crash, but I'm thinking this is definitely a B/C issue with the game and not related to my previous Xbox One model or the Xbox One S.

Just wanted to report in as promised.

Thanks. I think my XB1 is pooping out on me. Pushed through the crashes and got up the Aftermath campaign (I go to the aftermath campaign after anvil gate). It crashed in Gears Judgment as well. Not a good sign. I've fully unplugged the system. Cleared save data for XB1 and 360 data. Reinstalled in different locations. This sucks.

Besides the crash, how's the performance?

Gears 3 performance was much much better.

I've never noticed before that retail is putting stickers on 360 games that are backwards compatible.

When Lost Odyssey happens my 360 is officially retired. MS are doing an amazing job with BC.

I also bought Guwange, so I get to cross off two games today!

EDIT: Guwange is the 200th game I've installed on my XB1! LO will be 201.

I would bet you would only need disc 1

That's how I think it would probably go. I put in Disc 1 and got the prompt to download the update which is 22.43 GB (like the screen above). That seems like it would likely be the size of the entire game.

Cant believe I forgot the Mass Effect games and NG 2. I really want to go back and play some Mass Effect 3 co-op again, man that was such a great mode.

That would make sense since there's only one "disc 1". That way you couldn't lend out to 3 other people.

A lot of people loved Binary Domain. It evoked those Snatcher Sega CD feels, while not exactly the same game, but close.

I really hope that when they get the majority of games up they switch and do an Xbox Enhanced program where certain special games like Ninja Gaiden Black, and the Kotor games get wide screen rereleases. Man I would love to have the best games from all 3 MS platforms playable on the XB1.

I really want to know when Lost Odyssey will be made available digitally, and I'm wondering if Microsoft has shared a timeframe. The sooner, the better!

I feel certain there is probably some legal/rights related reason why it's not being sold digitally. There's certainly no technical reason since BC games are basically just digital versions that do a disc check.
