Xbox One Backwards Compatibility Thread: Everyone wants it, no one uses it

Killer is Dead getting support has me so hopeful for Shadows of the Damned. One of the absolute greatest games of last generation.

Wow just restarted it today while waiting steam games to download. The first that came into my mine it was this game needs to be ported in current gens and pc. What an excellent game it was.
The shooting feels more junky than I remember though

Yeah, I liked Shadows of the Damned a lot, but it had like that... "swing" aiming thing going on with it like RE4 which really doesn't feel good in this day and age (IMO obs).

I didn't think the game was hard, but I for the life of me, cannot beat the last boss on Hard difficulty. It's almost like
a "step" you do does nothing and doesn't trigger the next "step" when I try it.
That's the last achievement I need for this game, too...

It was fun but it had a lot of annoying problems. One of which I think was putting checkpoints BEFORE huge pre-rendered sequences, so if you died you had to watch the whole thing over again every time.

I almost bought a copy on Ebay but decided against it. I already bought Lost Odyssey and that should last a while (once we get out of this crowded season and I can actually get back at my backlog). Unless I find a really cheap copy around here, I'll skip it.

My dog ate my copy of Blue Dragon, it came in the post and he just chewed right through the disc.

On a completely unrelated note I am all digital now, get on it MS.

Red Dead Redemption just took a 563.08 MB U-P-D-A-T-E for me (I am fully aware that this game has been BC for a while, thank you for pointing this out to me, in case I hadn't noticed), possible hint at a BC drop tomorrow (of NEW games, not already existing ones - seriously, WTF!?)?

Maybe Blue Dragon's coming after all!?

Also, looks like it has a new splash screen now, showing John Marston, as opposed to just black Red Dead Redemption text on that red background.

Lol, where have you been? :P

Lmao damn, you're a sensitive one aren't ya? ;)

Edit: Next time just be more clear in what you're attempting to say in order to avoid being brought to near tears.

How much more clear can you be than saying that a game just took an update?

At no point did I claim that RDR had only just gone BC, that was entirely on you.

Sorry, I just don't take kindly to idiots.

I got an RDR update today too, games been installed on X1 since the beginning of October and played here and there every week. . Did they fix the multiplayer? No patch notes kind of sucks.

Tried to see if Blue Dragon for updated early, sadly it was not. Night consisted of giving away Halloween candy, RDR, and beer.

Damn, already spiking a bit. I bought a copy earlier today for ~$11.
Looks like it. It's weird to me that these games that were kinda niche get boosts to the price. Although, I guess you can only get them physically right now, unlike Rage, which I just got in the mail today for 2.66 after taxes and shipping.

I didn't get an RDR update, but I did get a Lost Odyssey update. The "update" was 22 gigabytes. I got a console update and a message popped up that said I needed to update it in order to play it, but I wasn't doing anything. I didn't even have the disc on. Weird...

Sadly I don't think I will ever fully retire my 360 because of RB3 (love RB4, but it's nice to bust out the keyboard now and then) and Kinect, but that's one more big game off my list.

Vesperia
Mass Effect 2 and 3
GTA IV
Dragon Age: Origins
TES: Oblivion

and I'll be totally happy.
