The streamers should really work on getting those data pods out there in the fields so they can have them get minerals and money easier for better equipment.

Has there been any Doug footage at all yet? According to one of the guides, he's supposed to be available before Lao, but I haven't seen him on any streams.

Aww, most of the songs with lyrics are alright IMO, just that one battle song is kinda meh, and I don't even mind it that much.

It does suck that we probably still have a long wait ahead of us though. :/
I think it's the male rapped ones I can't stand. I enjoy a lot of the others

You have to buy mechs for your teammates? I figured they would come with their own.

I wonder if there are story fights where Dolls for the whole team is mandatory.

I don't actually want an answer to this. Just thinking out loud.

I'm actually fine with the jp linkin park battle theme, its not my favorite but its tolerable.

And aww I just noticed Elma's robo cat ears, cute.

I can't quite tell what's going on with the sidequests in that narumi stream - is he teleporting directly to where the quest givers or quest locations are, e.g. to turn them in? Hope so, because that would save a bunch of time on them...

Probably a big spoiler on narumi, but the music in that "place" was nice!

Yeah, the stream dropped out for me and then I had to wait for the page to load. The last thing I saw was a Manon knocked out. Then when it came back they were in "a place". I switched to another tab and let it play in its own tab until Primordia music started again...lol. I'm guessing it was a Manon
ship
.

So this game so far seems very open-world-ish to me, reminds me a lot of the Elder Scrolls series. Except for the combat and crazy worlds, this game doesn't feel like XC at all judging from the streams.

Yeah probably one of the more annoying things in Xenoblade was having to search around those big cities for certain questgivers to complete quests, and it's hard to tell where they are since they don't pop up on your map til you are right up on that ass.

Any streams going on with Doug in the party?

Ok, I understand now why we didn't saw him earlier.
Unlocking (some) companions have different quests from the main story because for example :
Narumi, just did a level 14 quest for unlocking Erina while he is level 24. While I think he got Lao during story mission

The Narumi guy seems to complete only what is necessary to advance the main story, so he is doing minimal sidequests it seems.

So anyone figured out how the online works (beside the nintendo direct)

Does it work like GTA5, where Online and Story is completely seperate and each have their own game modes.

Or is everything all together and online only adds 34 other players running around the world doing stuff + the extra objective at the bottom right corner that once completed offer for more actual multiplayer quest. (Those dragons and shit)

The latter if I understood correctly
