Even though I've tried only eating meat, I'm not really sure. If you are concerned about your bowel movements, I'll just say that it doesn't seem to be an issue. Outside of that, my understanding is that fiber is useful in that it prevents carbohydrates from being absorbed into the blood too quickly, and if you only eat meat that's not going to be an issue. The other thing fiber does is help your body eliminate cholesterol, but on an all meat diet your body lowers the amount of cholesterol it produces on it's own to compensate.

Yeah maybe
I did keto a few times

Not carnivore but I really missed pooping easily 😢

Ok, so there a lot of people don't know how versatile animal foods can be, because plant-based foods are cheaper and more profitable for most food producers.

Firstly, the Inuit people of Greenland subsisted mainly on a diet of fat and fish, completely devoid of plant-based food showing that it is possible to live without high levels of fiber.

Secondly, the parts of animals that we regularly throw away like the liver, heart, kidneys, brain, and bone, contain the highest levels of bioavailable vitamins and minerals of any food available.

Thirdly, salt is not a plant, its a mineral. Butter, cream, and eggs are animal-based. Mushrooms, yeast, and bacteria are neither plants nor animals.

I honestly am probably gonna roll with plants tbh

Meat is awesome, but veggies are just as flavorful

Sautee some brussel sprouts alongside cherry tomatoes and red onion in a little olive oil with just enough kosher salt and black pepper and you're gonna have a real good time

People who shit on vegetables are bustas

Not to put too fine a point on it, but my machinery just very much appreciates vegetables and fruit. Bathroom visits aren't just easier, they're pleasant. When my machinery is running smooth, I feel more confident.

"A chemical compound used in vanilla flavouring and scents comes from the anal glands of beavers."

"to acquire the castoreum, the beaver needs to be anaesthetised and then its nether regions are “milked”."

Confused Britney Spears GIF

Yeah thats a no from me. At least this beaver butt goo is apparently mostly used in perfumes and not foods

Girls out here smelling like vanilla butt
I guess if you took a whiff of a woman and asked “is that beaver I smell?” You now at least have plausible deniability.

Gonna go with plant. Tons of Indian dishes to choose from, plenty of Korean and Vietnamese that are either all vegetarian or with meat that can be substituted or left out. I also really like Impossible "meat", and several brands of chicken substitutes.

Yep, We are heading that way anyways. Plant based burger will get better and better and cheaper too.
It's will be hard for a lot of people to justify buying "real" meat when you can't taste the difference most of the time and plant based burger are 3 times cheaper.

even meat can taste like shit with no seasoning (ever tried a plain chicken breast? its not good...)
You ever try plain lettuce without ranch dressing? That's not good either.
You can make great chicken breasts without spices. Just throw some bacon grease over them.

Taste wise, plants for sure.

Health wise, neither would be great I think. Animal foods probably a little better.

In conclusion, just shoot me.

for salads, vinegar based dressings > ranch
for salads, Feta cheese > vinegar based dressings
for chicken, alfredo sauce > spices

I mean we could go back and forth like that forever.
There is many ways to dress up food no matter how you eat is what I was trying to get across.

I love how you guys talk like there's some universal truth to how you should eat lettuce 😂

The answer though is of course mushroom flavored soy sauce mixed with olive oil.

Man this one is really hard.
I love meat and I have some form of animal based food with almost every meal (specially if you include things like eggs and dairy products)
But no plants would mean no spices, curries, oils, hot sauces, pasta (dough in general), potatoes in all their forms, etc.

I don't know, probably plant based. But I'd be hard

i wasnt arguing, just stating a preference. i cant stand ranch specifically i think the stuff is pretty rank

if this question was purely about aniamal seasoning vs non animal seasoning though, i think it would be even easier to answer.
