The trailer shows where the game takes place, it's far far to the north from Xandria. It's a new game for sure.
If that's Dogi in the trailer, he seems to have acquired a weapon beyond his fists. It's vaguely pickaxe shaped though which would tie in with his wall-breaking compulsions.
Or it could be someone else entirely.

It's called 'Prelude to Truth'. Disc 1, Track 16 on the official OST.
Started my Ys journey this past weekend on the Vita.
Never played Ys games before! Ys Book 1 has been quite fun so far, i'm in the Dharm tower, just got the first book from there.
Bought 1+2, Felghana, Memories of Celceta and 7 for the Vita, Origins on Steam.
The most important thing i had to learn was:
Stand still to regenerate!
I was so frustrated in the beginning that i could only kill few enemies at a time and had to go back to the city to get healed
Listening to my Ys playlist today, all ten hours, everything but Celceta (since I haven't played it yet) and V (since it sucks).
I wish people would stop bitching about Ys V. It's still a good game.
Barely. I'm still mad at how useless most of the alchemy spells were.
Started Ys 1 (first Ys) last night.
FUCK THIS GUY
FUCK THIS GUY
NEVER
BAAAAAAAAAAAAATS
I cheesed that rock spewing boss so hard. Jsut ran around in a circle counterclokwise while in its hit box.
Or maybe that's the only way to beat it. I don't know.
WHY IS YS NOW A BULLET-HELL SHOOTER
