Yummy foods you just can't eat.

I'm talking about foods that you love but for whatever reason, you can't have. Maybe it's an allergy, a heart condition, or digestive issue. Whatever. The real reason I made this thread is because I fucking love the flavor of mango hobanero sauce at B Dubs but it fucking destroys me every time. I just got some and my mouth and lips are on fire and it doesn't feel good. Why did I do this to myself? Is there some other bbq sauce that has the mango flavor without the severe burning sensation?

Anyways... Post pics too if you can.

I used to love pho probably as much as anything. Then I made the mistake of doing a bunch of cooking with fish sauce and now anything that contains fish sauce, it is all I taste and smell. Extremely depressing.

Ice cream/frozen custard. I can handle the soft serve and stuff used in shakes at fast food restaurants, but actual decent ice cream always gives me a stomach ache. I'm definitely not lactose intolerant based on the rest of my diet, so I'm a bit confused.

Peanut butter. I can eat a little bit, but then again, I can't just eat a little bit. And when I do, it gives me really tough, gooey shits, and I'm on the toilet for half an hour and spending another half an hour wiping my damn ass. I miss peanut butter. :(

Not an allergic reaction, but seafood and fish.

Everyone tells me how great it is to eat some crab, octopus or a good fish. But I really can not stand the taste of almost every seafood to the point I have to spit it out.

Publix usually has BOGO on some type of cookies. Have to skip that aisle.

I didn't on Monday, so that last two and a half days I ate a package of fudge stripes and chocolate mint cookies.

They were delicious

Pizza. I don't stop eating when I'm full. I don't stop eating when I hate myself. I only stop eating once there's no more pizza.

Pork. I'll have cured stuff like bacon and ham every now and then but I've had bad dishes and cooking experiences as a child with pigs. The smell of its burnt flesh as if it were human just scarred me.

Nowadays, breakfast cereal, used to be amazing as a kid, now it just gets me super bloated and I become practically immobile.

Oreos cause me to see red and go on an eating frenzy. I'll kill an entire bag over the course of a single afternoon and then my stomach will be all fucked up.

I also try to stay away from Taco Bell these days. Mainly for health reasons, but also because my stomach seemingly can't handle it anymore. Used to go with my friends in college in the middle of the night and not feel a thing, but over the last 4-5 years my body instantly hates me when I feed it late night Taco Bell.

Oh, also protein shakes. I used to have one after the gym all the time but then for the rest of the the days my stomach would be loud.

One time it happened during a final exam, everyone in class was quiet and, literally, the loudest stomach movement I've ever had in my life happened.
I think I said "oh shit" or something to laugh it off. It was embarrassing.

Chocolate ice cream, it goes from one hole to the other.

I'll still buy it on occasion, though it tends to just be Rocky Road.

This and milkshakes. I've successfully quit both but god damn do I love how they taste despite the terror they wreak on my digestive system.

Pizza either destroys my stomach or does nothing and i was tired of playing russian roulette with my butthole so i cut out pizza. Reese's and glazed donuts i try not to eat because i can destroy copious amounts of both and i don't want diabeetus.

Besides all the addictive food mentioned here because I have zero self control and im an animal, I gotta say shrimp because of allergies. Especially that shrimp stuffed with cheese and wrapped in bacon, oh the tragedy

i came in here expecting pictures of really good food lol. on topic, i cant eat anything soy related, majority of fruits and milk. Allergic to soy and some protein/pesticides in the fruit (idk really) and lactose intolerant to milk. Oh also, I can't eat nuts, i get the gnarliest reaction in my mouth and if i swallow, im out for the day in a bathroom. the struggle.

Such a shame

There's no fish sauce in pho...

All my favorite drinks. ;_; I'm choosing to only drink water.

Edit: Oh, you said food.

In that case.. There is nothing I can think of.

same :(

Corn on the cob. I had it all the time growing up in Texas, and I haven't gotten over being without it for 15 years.

I found out the same day I also couldn't have cauliflower, which made my 8-year old self think it was a fair deal.

I am severely intolerant to like 80% of food. It's easier for me to list what I can eat:

- Grilled chicken
- Non-dairy margarine
- Brown bread
- Rice
- Potatoes of the right variety (not fried)
- Lettuce
- Carob based stuff / carob molasses

That is all. :(
