Just keep applying disorder over and over, works really well, sometimes you don’t need an attack character at all, if 2 characters are really good at applying status. Melts HP.

Yes but that's what jane is for right? Rotation would be something like Lucy ex->quick assist into burnice double EX/charged attack to trigger scorch, if you have enough mastery this should already trigger burn->swap to jane and apply assault, 1st assault proc disorder, after 2nd assault swap back to burnice and re-trigger burn for big disorder and refill heat.

Looking for advice here. My main team Ive invested all in is Zhu Yuan, Caesar, and Nicole. I have no other DPS and had to level up Corin (who i hate) and Lucy so that I can have a 2nd team for the defense game mode. Luckily i had Lycoan max level already so I have a stunner for that 2nd team. I have about 31k polychrome, would it be wise to go for Burnice and use her as a 2nd main? Or would it be more wise to wait for Yanagi? It's been a real struggle playing with Corin as I hate her playstyle.

Burnice can be played as a main dps but it's not where she's best, it's definitely workable and if you really cant stand corin or billy then theres no reason not to as burnice will probably be relevant for a long time

Any suggestions for a second, or even a third team? Besides Jane, I really like Anby and Soukaku so if I could make teams around them that would be best. As you can see everyone below LV50 is not a character I'm interested in but if one or two of them could really boost my Anby/Soukaku I'd be willing to learn them. (please don't tell me to use Ben)

The LV50+ characters are built according to the game's suggestions and Hoyotools, at least as close as I can get.

I previously said I was going to keep it casual but now I'm trying to make two teams out of what I have that are at least good enough to clear Shiyu Critical and Ambush Nodes. I am already trying out Jane/Seth/Lucy but so far it doesn't look like Lucy is really contributing anything (I still haven't got her decent disks, though) and I feel like I wasted resources on Nicole because I thought she was going to be helpful for enemies weak to ether and she barely does anything.

I also overspent and now am broke on resources/dennies, LOL. (Less than 1000000 dennies now) being F2P, am I still able to dig out of this hole I made for myself? It was a struggle getting From Proxy LV40 to LV50 and I don't really want to start over from scratch. How should I go about farming? It seems everything I do just runs out for the day/week. PLZHLP

You can use soukaku as a main dps, she actually compares favorably with Ellen Joe at mindscape level 6. soukaku, lycaon, and +1 (probably use nicole since soukaku already buffs her own attack), the other side use seth jane and lucy. For lucy her biggest thing is just level her core skill and her ex special and give her attack% main stats.

Thanks for the tips! I could see myself investing in Lycaon next, I just need to un-poor myself now. :messenger_grinning_sweat:

Oh yeah the game is designed to force you to log in every day and the pacing of the upgrades is glacial to tempt you to spend money.

Some general tips: never buy stuff from the 141 shop, it's like 5-10x more expensive than just farming for it in the HIA.
Also do Hollow Zero every week, you get like 1700 points that you can trade for resources (150 points per run, max 900 so 6 runs + the weekly). You can trade those points in for dennies at 50k dennies per 100

As for nicole, her main use is this

But it only lasts 3.5s so you have to make good use of it.

I think the best (for now) and mainly fire team will be Lucy (Support) -> Koleda (Stun) -> Burnice (Anomaly) or Koleda (Stun) -> Soldier 11 (Attack) -> Burnice (Anomaly).

If you'll manage to get Lighter later, Koleda can be replaced as I'm sure that Lighter will be better.

That's only a problem when you hit level 50, if skills are 4-5 levels below the max one and the last 3 core passives are... well, farmfest as well.

P.S. Lucy and Piper are both finaly C6 now and have great discs as well. Time to farm some resources for W-Engines and skills for them and Burnice.

They overtuned the 5th node - HP pool there is 17 million (almost 3 times more than it should be) and there's way too many enemies, the last two nodes are much easier.

I honestly don't like this BS endgame content, you're just doing it to get polys and other stuff, not because you like it. I wish there was way more rally missions with short stories instead of these BS overtuned patience and endurace tests with god awful timers and insane damage.

What about having Billy or Anton lead a second team? Also, it’s viable to have a team consist of 2 anomalies + support, that works too.
I personally think Burnice could lead a team, it once again it would need to be a disorder team, so likely pair her with Piper

Nicole is primarily used for Ether resonance for teams (having 2 or more ether characters) and for her defense shred capabilities, 40% def shred is amazing.

Well, I'm sorry, but they're both stupid af.

There's only so much time you can do all these challanges before it gets old very fast, and then you're doing it just to get piss-poor rewards, don't care about anything else (cuz there's nothing to care about other than building characters for a month after each new update and finishing 2-3 hrs story content) and it is the only endgame content you get.

The whole system of F2P Gacha is incredibly flawed, manipulative and bad.

After spending almost everything on Caesar and her Wengine, I’m already back up to 8400 poly and 14 E Tapes, not too bad imo, and there’s still more I can farm in game from some various activities I never got around to.

Just the amount of characters you have doesn't matter for endgame content, critical shiyu is a dps race, what matters is how well your characters, and bangboo are built and how well the team works together.

People clear shiyu critical with the basic units you're given. There must be something you're missing in team comp or how built your characters are if you're struggling that much.

Example: 61 second clear of shiyu 17 side B with soldier 11, nicole, lucy. Soldier 11 being one of the slowest dps characters in game

Had 14k polys and 15 tapes, not really interested in Burnice, dont like her fighting gimicks, but shes an unique character that deals damage while not being used. So decided to try my luck with a single 10 pulls just to spend the tapes, and....

Ya I was talking with my gf about it too, it’s not even about the money, I can easily afford to spend money on the game, but I think about it like this, I can spend and get Burnice, or I can spend that same money and buy a whole ass new game (Dragon Ball Sparking Zero comes to mind) and when I think about it like that it really puts things into perspective. Of course I’m human and feel the fomo and the desire to want to pull and not miss out on a character, but these games are geared to make you feel exactly that way. So ya, I’m just gonna grind it out and do hard mode quests and the events and hopefully within the next 19 days of the banner I can get lucky. And if not, oh well. I’ll live lol.

I too lost 50/50 and got a copy of Rina. Luckily i had 30k polychrome so i was able to pull more and still have some left over.

I feel like ZZZ is the worst offender in this regard.

My luck in both Genshin and Star Rail is great, but ZZZ has constantly fucked me over since day 1. I’m not falling for their traps, they do this kind of stuff to incentivize people to spend real money. Not gonna happen. I will live and be just fine with or without Burnice lol. And hey, there’s still like 18 days left, I’ll throw everything I earn at the banner, and like I said if I get her, great, if not, I’ll live. It will be OK.
